What with resiliance not working in PVE. Seems like it will be. Hopefully someone will find a way to continue this challenging, yet fun, side to the balance tree.

Tankin in moonkin was, will be, and is never possible.
You dont have leather with spelldmg and +defense, no dodge, no parry, no other mitigation (lets not mention block), nothing other than a minimal armor mitigation which doesnt make a difference good enough.
In pvp, resto druids, locks, rogues, even mages can tank a whole lot better.
In pve its really pointless even to try.

Sorry you can no longer tank tier 4 content. If you are still said I recommend either rerolling a warrior, or possibly speccing feral.

But its also boring. Being able to do things out of the ordinary, like moonkin tanking keeps this game interesting. Everything in this game comes down to exactly the same thing. Do you have the right gear/spec to do what needs to be done? Blizz should focus more on improving the talent trees so "hybrid" specs work. So that unique play styles can be fun, and rewarding. |

So that every spec can heal, dps, and tank? This is not World of Samecraft, so not every class should be exactly the same. Some can heal, some can dps, some can tank. Deal with it. As a druid you have the highest amount of hybrid capability, since you could tank, cast, heal, or melee dps. Yet you still complain? You can do many things, but you aren't superman. Accept it and move on. |

I think the concept of tanking should not exist. It should be more like Tabula Rasa and a mass slaughter instead. You know, continue waves of armies that you need to destroye. |

This is not world of samecraft? What? Thats why everyone specs a specific way for Arena/PVP or raids, right? Thats why everyone wears exactly the same gear and use the exact same enchants, right? Thats why in WotlK specific specs offer even less unique utility, right? |

With "green" armor removed from any gear, you would have no other choice but to take the tanking talents in the deep feral tree to only regain the armor mitigation one could gather in TBC. That was pretty much the only thing that made Moonkins capable of some low-boss tanking, because for any avoidance you'd always had to waer some feral stuff.
Even if you wore feral gear as a moonkin in WotlK, you would at best land at armor values of mail and subpar avoidance. You would be somewhere where an elemental shaman wearing enhancement gear would be, and that is not too far up the tanking-ladder I fear.

i am just force into the role whenever i pug a 10 man
it usually involves me trying to be less dependent on omen
