  • Ice Lance base damage increased by 20%.
  • Frostbolt base damage increased by 20%.
  • Deep Freeze base damage increased by 20%.
  • Early Frost now reduces the cast time of Frostbolt by 0.35/0.7 secs, up from 0.25/0.5 secs.

Paladin (Forums / 3.3.5 Talent Calculator / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Beta Skills/Talents)
Holy
  • Enlightened Judgements now also Increases the range of your Judgement by 5/10 yards.
  • Divinity is gone, moved to Protection
  • Protector of the Innocent is now a Tier 1 Holy Talent and has been revamped - Casting a targeted heal on any target, including yourself, also heals you for 1240.83 to 1427.62. (Multi ranks, but currently all with the same value)

  • Selfless Healer now increases the effectiveness of Word of Glory's heal by 25/50% when used on others.

  • Inner Fire no longer has a mana cost.
  • Borrowed Time is now a Tier 2 talent, down from Tier 4.

  • Train of Thought (Tier 5) *New* - You have a 50/100% chance when heal with Greater Heal to reduce the cooldown of your Inner Focus by 5 sec. You have a 50/100% chance when you Smite to reduce the cooldown of your Penance by 1 sec.

Holy
  • Greater Heal now costs 29% of base mana, down from 32% of base mana.
  • Revelations - Holy Word: Sanctuary (Prayer of Healing) effect now lasts 18 sec, up from 15 sec.
  • Blessed Resilience is now a Tier 6 talent, up from Tier 5.
  • Surge of Light is now a Tier 2 talent, down from Tier 3.
  • Trinity is gone.
  • Tome of Light (Tier 4) *New* - Reduces the cooldown of your Holy Word spells by 15/30%.

  • Dual Wield now also allows you to parry frontal melee attacks.
  • Windfury Totem now increases the melee and ranged attack speed of all party and raid members within 40 yards by 10%. (Down from 20%)
  • Feral Spirit now lasts 30 sec, down from 45 sec. Cooldown changed to 2 min, down from 3 min.

Restoration

Warlock (Forums / 3.3.5 Talent Calculator / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Beta Skills/Talents)
Affliction
  • Bane of Doom now deals damage every 15 sec, down from 30 sec. Now has a 20% chance to summon a Demon guardian, down from 25%. Only one target can have Bane of Doom at a time, only one Bane per Warlock can be active on any one target.
  • Drain Life now restores 2% total health, down from 5%.
  • Everlasting Affliction now increases the critical effect chance of your Corruption, Seed of Corruption and Unstable Affliction by 10%. (Up from 2%)
  • Soul Swap now costs 18% of base mana, up from 6% of base mana.

Demonology
  • Ritual of Souls now costs 27% of base mana, down from 80% of base mana.
  • Hand of Gul'dan now has a 2 sec cast time, down from 3 sec.
  • Impending Doom no longer reduces the cooldown of the Bane of Doom damage effect, now Increases the chance for your Bane of Doom to summon a demon by 10/20/30% when it deals damage.

Destruction
  • Shadowfury base damage has been increased by 235%. (Don't get too excited, it wasn't scaled to Cataclysm yet)
  • Burning Embers - The Burning Ember effect deals up to [ 0.071%/0.143% of Spell Power + 23.921 ] fire damage every 1 sec for 7 sec.
  • Soul Leech now restores 2/4% of your total health and mana, down from 5/10%.

Pets

Arms

Fury
  • Pummel is now usable in Battle and Berserker Stance. (Old - Just Berserker)
  • Enrage now has a 3/6/9% chance to proc, down from 4/8/12%.
  • Battle Trance now affects your next special attack that costs more than 5 rage.

Protection
  • Defensive Stance now increases threat generated by 100%, up from 45%.
  • Thunderstruck now also increases the damage of Rend.
  • Incite - These guaranteed criticals cannot re-trigger the Incite effect. (Tooltip clarification)

    Druids just lost the "The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of Polymorph and Movement Impairing effects." Live you can free yourself of a Polymorph by morphing in to Bear or Cat Form, and while you are on a Form, you are immune to Polymorph, in Cata while you are on a form you are immune to Polymorph, but you can't break Polymorph by entering a form.

    Last time I checked we had to be shapeshifted to be inmune to poly. And we can't dispel anything while in forms...

    If I understand it correctly, we are not able to break poly if we shift into any form (ie poly'ed caster form -> cat form). But we can't be polymorphed if we are already in a form.

    Am I right?

    The melee/ranged haste change is a bummer. They could at least increase the DK/Shaman personal haste to it's original amount, and leave the party version at 10%.

    As is, this is a decent nerf to Frost DKs first, and then to the raid second. One that isn't really needed.

    I really hope they change the feral back to polly immunity, otherwise it seems like blizz is just killing off each of my Fav class every expansion..

    Thank you for updating wowtal.com so quickly. There is a slight mistake in the description for ENLIGHTENED JUDGMENTS (Paladin-Holy-Tier4): the tooltip shows a range increase of 50/100 yards. According to your original post here, it should read 5/10 yards. Thanks!

    I will never use 'Word of Glory' Blizz stop trying to force that gimp heal on me. CS gets an extra 20%? wow!> lol. Art buff is nice.

    Loving the Word of Glory buff. Now when I'm ahead on threat by a good margin on single target, I can help the healers by protecting myself even further -> saving their mana. The uptime on Holy Shield just got increase, which is a huge bonus too.

    Still need to think about the balance between:
    Inquisition
    Shield of the Righteous
    Word of Glory

    If we get a boss fight where TPS is hard to manage due to random adds, we'll really be able to tell the good tanks from bad ones.

    Warrior changes are ridiculous, there's a reason why they weren't allowed to pummel in battlestance before. Absolutely brutal for every other class. Oh good lets just give warriors unhealable dps PLUS interrupts. Yup makes sense.

    Considering Mortal Strike only reduces healing by 25% now I don't think it is unreasonable for PVP. Fury Warriors and Rogues can also apply a healing debuff and have an interrupt so I'm not sure what would be wrong with the Arms warrior getting the interrupt as well.

    The nerf was very much needed (At least to the party anyways). Because haste now effects resources, it became too powerful of a buff in relation to other buffs. In turn this would require fights to be balanced against a strong buff such as this, and would require an individual in the raid who could provide the buff.

    Maybe it is because Rogues don't need anything new or tweaking to their skills.. You guys are solid.

    Still waiting for feral dps to get fixed.. Come on blizzard, make it happen!

    I was hoping for more changes to all trees in this expansion. It seems that we are also getting less new spells as well. I remember someone saying that in Wrath players got like 6 to 8 new spells or some jazz.

    Really Ghostcrawler is boring me to tears. The idea to have core abilities as level 10 is neat, but who knows if it might work to hold new players interest. Some of those core abilities are old and not very exciting at all as well imo.

    Maybe this just isn't the game for me anymore, as I am hoping for things that probably will never happen.

    Sucks.
