Update 09:30PM CEST - It also looks like Reins of Poseidus is now an epic item, it will probably a loot from the rare NPC Poseidus in Vashj'ir.
Update 08:30PM CEST - Extinct Turtle Shell is now bound to account apparently and seems to be a potential Archaeology reward.
Update 08:00PM CEST - Added item changes/additions.
Update 07:45PM CEST - Added the final/clean version of class spells and professions changes.

Unholy
  • Desecration no longer triggers against targets that are immune to movement slowing effects.

Druid (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Beta Skills/Talents)
Feral
  • Ferocious Bite now scales from 32.7% of AP with 3 combo points, up from 23.27%. (Tooltip fix)
  • Savage Defense now only procs from non-periodic critical strikes.
  • Stampede now also causes Ravage to not have a positioning requirement.

Restoration
  • Nature's Swiftness now increases the amount healed by 50% if the spell is a healing spell.

Balance
  • Cyclone now lasts 6 sec, up from 5 sec.
  • Starfall - Shapeshifting into an animal form or mounting cancels the effect. Any effect which causes you to lose control of your character will suppress the starfall effect.
  • Starlight Wrath now Reduces the cast time of your Wrath and Starfire spells by 0.15/0.25 sec, up from 0.1/0.2 sec.

  • Arcane Blast now has a 2.2 sec cast time, down from 2.5 sec. Base damage reduced by 12%, from [ 1933 - 2247 ] to [ 1710 - 1988 ]

Protection
  • Sacred Duty now also procs from Avenger's Shield. Now lasts 10 sec, down from 15 sec.

    Not that I am not glad warriors got taken care of... But this might even be a little bit too harsh, not only they nerfed the zerg window CS gives them but they actually nerfed their overall dmg which isnt exactly... Required, I think.

    Dual Wield now increases chance to hit with melee attacks only.
    That is only a tooltip fix, the ability always only worked with melee attacks.

    Warrior nerfs? I'm beginning to think Blizzard has no clue nor care for how warriors are fairing in PvE at all. Warriors are getting destroyed in nearly every fight this tier and the fights were you get massive buffs, IE Sinestra, we are seeing warriors fall to the very bottom.

    I really hope blizzard just splits PvE and PvP for warriors, this is ridiculous. All of these nerfs to warriors are directly tied to PvP burst damage and it is destroying sustained warrior damage in PvE.

    The whining about mages is getting old now. They only seem OP to low rated people, they dont do as well in high rating. That said i dont think ice lance was the right thing to buff, frostbolt buffs is the right direction
    I thought they always care about casual players and not about 1% of high rated players. Why 99% should be pissed off to make 1% happy? Devs just got lost.

    At level 70, arcane mages blow me up with 3x arcane blast already, coming out of nowhere (no tracable graphical effect). 4k, 6k, 6k. BOOM, dead. This is with full Brutal Gladiator gear, glyphed soul link and the damage reduction warlocks get against arcane magic. But I guess this is ok since hitting the same button 3 times without moving has a high skill cap.
    And mages are getting buffed, while warlocks ....

    It's mind-boggling. It's as if these designers are set on destroying any PvP other than stupid arena deathmatches on purpose.

    My subscription expires by the end of March - after 3+ years of WoW I will not stick around any longer to watch this disaster. The unused gametime card I found will be cut in two pieces and fedex-ed to the Blizzard office. With kind regards, and f*ck yourselves!

    Is anyone else confused as to how mixing a stout (which is an ale, not a lager) with bourbon can make a lager? Those dwarves have some mad brewing skills.

    The Frost buff was mainly for PvE. For those of you who don't know, Icelance didn't get a direct buff only the damage from FoF got buffed. With that being said, the only way to effectively gain stacks of FoF without using a spell that has a CD on it, is to sit and Frostbolt. Currently this is rarely done in PvP for obvious reasons. At the same time FoF has about a 30% uptime in any given boss encounter. Stop QQing.

    If it's true that Arcane Blast got reworked from the original 13% damage buff, it should be interesting to see how the damage sims out.

    after years of only playing my warrior through every ex-pac i think im going to have to try for a paid class change or sumthing because im tired of this rollercoaster every patch.

    Maybe it's just on my battlegroup, but 2 of the top 3 3v3 teams on Stormstrike have Frost Mages.

    Apparently not, second team on Shadowburn has one, also on Vindication. N°1 team on Vengeance has one. Yeah, Subtelty rouges are much more prevalent, but don't tell me that Frost mages are not a top arena spec. You know which class isn't a top arena spec, Ele or Enh shaman, only restoration is viable at high ratings.

    I wonder if Blizzard realizes that whether or not they list Colossus Smash's 50% Armor Reduction on Colossus Smash or not, it still makes it a PVP/PVE tooltip. I still don't understand how they think that's a huge deal, since every CC in the game has had PVP specific effects since BC came out basically. It's not like it's the first ability ever to have a PVP and PVE effect, they just never properly listed anything in the tooltips. I guess they feel that if they don't properly list it in the tooltips, it doesn't make it true.

    Go play RIFT, once your favorite spec becomes outdated, you just respec and do the new best thing for your class. "My Warrior is getting nerfed to the ground? I'll just respec Death Knight or Ret Pally." Essentially is how their respec'ing works. If only...

    More frost mage PvP(!) buffs??? Blizzard is on crack -_- I honestly, really, dont remember ever in WoW history so much favoritism going, and so blatant and impudent one as well. Yay, keep buffing the OP spec while completely ignoring a bunch of other classes/specs that urge for help to become at least viable not to say competitive or fun to play. What, "super annoying and frustrating" you say as an excuse for nerfs now? Guess what, frostmage IS THE super annoying and super frustrating more than any spec to play against. And there are gazillions of them everywhere. Well, whatever, not like blizzard can hear me here, or care even if they would. Just had to vent my frustration and anger.

    ROFLMAO, they nerfed feral to freaking oblivion because of no-resil people, to whom they supposedly "catter", they keep balance gimped and threw a bunch of new nerfs for the same reason, even though both specs are like non existant in any competitive PvP aside of people only working to make a point by playing a gimp spec. Or should i call this "rating" excuse "a double standart to justify favoritism"? Definitely smells like one. Screw blizzard and their pet-class, seriously.

    Do you even play at high ratings? Mages aren't all that strong... they're really strong at low ratings because lesser skilled players don't know how to manage one. Once you learn how to fight Mages, you will find them a LOT easier to manage than when you were low skilled.
