Tier 12 Armor Sets Preview - Shaman
It's time for the first real preview of Tier 12 armor sets! As I said in yesterday's news post a lot of Tier 12 sets got a lot of bad feedback from the community based on poor/rushed previews, I'm not saying that they all look awesome but the Tier 12 Shaman definitely got some bad press because people couldn't render his effect properly. See for yourself.

You can expect more previews tomorrow, and yes, I lied about the Warlock video being today, I had a slight issue with the female models and they just didn't look right. This is already fixed but I didn't want to delay the Shaman preview further.

In any case, I suggest that you wait for the "good" previews before you decide if a set is good or bad and complain about it everywhere, for the sake of my moderators.

PS: The armor set available to player is the fire one, the green one is most likely a recolor and will only be used for non-set or NPCs.

Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest Hotfixed
Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest has been hotfixed on test realms and had its stats considerably increased. Additionally, the proc datamined a few days ago is now confirmed as well!

The critical strike rating has been changed to haste rating and all the stats have been increased, also, Blizzard took the opportunity to shatter people's hope with this hotfix and properly set the staff as "Bind on Pickup".

How exactly does that proc work out for SP's? A proc for example putting up another Vampiric Touch or something like that?

I donno... the shaman helm still looks a bit iffy. Maybe if they made the chunks on it rotate around the shamans head?

I still think the helm is kinda ugly

Don't be silly, we'll be on something daft like ilvl 600 by the next expansion.

As a Jewelcrafter all I can say is, we need much more weapons with 3 gem sockets!!!
In fact I demand all armor slots have 3 gem sockets dammit!

For my fire mage, I have reached the 15% haste cap with Dark Intent granted by a warlock.
Giving a fire mage Dark Intent is SOOOOO fail.

If this staff lasted into the next expansion you would call that balanced??? Really? This staff should barely last till the end of this expansion because if it did last till the next expansion that would mean it would literally turn all of a casters spells into "iwin" buttons during the 4.2 patch cycle.

Fire Mages are fine targets for Dark Intent, especially if you don't have a Shadow Priest.

I don't get why the staff have such a high melee dmg lol

Compared to Shadowmourne, that proc is terrible. I was hoping for some sort of intellect proc.

At least from a warlock's point of view.

The t12 shaman set looks a bit better now, but my opinion of it remains unchanged. It's still ugly.

    Boubou...

Why do you keep saying that these recolors are likely NPC gear?

As we've seen in both T10 and T11, Blizzard likes making Heroic level gear be a recolor of normal mode gear so that you can tell the difference.

Bleeding nerf to the staff's durability!! WTF! The top end increase sort of makes up for it though i suppose

That's only one of the recolors though. The others are for the NPCs.
