  • Impact: When Living Bomb is spread via this talent, it will only be spread to two additional targets. The net effect is that if the Mage’s most recent Living Bomb target is the same as their Impact target, that target will no longer lose the Living Bomb effect. Tier 12 Set Bonuses
  • Hunter 4P: The effect which makes Shots cost no focus now also makes Kill Command cost no focus.
  • Mage 2P: This set bonus can now also be triggered by Frostfire Bolt.
  • Mage 4P: The portion of this bonus referring to Arcane Missiles have been removed. Instead, the set bonus now makes Arcane Power reduce the cost of Mage spells by 10% instead of increasing their cost.

So-called hardcore players are, and always have been in the minority.

And I really hope Blizz could see how fast this thread run and what is the majority of people in MMOC respond about this nerf and push the thread run really fast.
The majority of people posting on MMOC is a fraction of the WoW player base and is just noise to Blizzard.

Not really sure why they nerfed T11. It wasn't really that hard if you put in any where from 1-5 hours on any boss. Plus, it is not like raiding fundamentally changed from Wrath to Cata that you need this much of a nerfing.

Personally I think it's fine as is, but I can understand why they would nerf it seeing as the new Firelands raid is coming soon.

Wow this is a big one, especially for tanks gearing up to i359. It's really going to reduce the entry-level choices to prepare for raids and ZG/As.

I don't think so. All the people I know who play WoW like the challenge. One of my friends actually came BACK to WoW for the challenge when Cata got realised. This is a shame.
and the fact that blizzard reached a milestone in subscribers in WOTLK and the fact that THAT expac also had the most casual friendly approach of any of the xpacs didnt have anything to do with one another.....

From all this posts, who agrees with this nerfs are either scrubs, skilless players or people who don't like challenges, just given stuff to thier hand.
Please link your armory so we can see your 13/13 and know you are truly elite. Also how is it ranked, I mean the first guild to clear 13/13 is best of the best right? So anything after after that guild including any nerfs to heroics would in a sense make you bad and skilless as the rest? I'm currently 8/13 so I guess im bad but you know two day raid schedule fits my real life and I can live with that and the nerfs to what will be old content.

On a side note this argument reminds me of marathon running. In a recent article I read people were bitching and complaining that those who finish say anything over 4.5hours aren't really running the race. For me (my best to date is 3:29:44) the people who I looked at where the people who beat me not the people who came in after. If someone wants to spend 6 hours or longer walking 26.2 miles go right ahead and let them as it will not affect me in the slightest. All you need to do is look at someones time to determine what you subjectively feel is impressive or not. If I want to be-little someone because I beat the person who came in at 3.5hours or 4hrs that's fine, but the guy who won with 2:09:00 probably can do the same. Remember there is always someone better than you, just worry about yourself and not others and you will be fine.

Ever check out the Armory on the folks whining about the game being "too easy" on the official forums? 99% of them didn't complete ICC on normal until the buff hit 30%, they never did Ulduar, they never managed to down much of anything. So they whine about WotLK being "too easy" and about any nerf in Cata, yet they haven't completed hard content in either expac. It's a really, really odd phenomenon.

When I saw all those nerfes I was like.... wow....

I've never done a Cata raid yet, its just too boring and time consuming, but if the bosses are now very easy and cleared within an hour, I may consider visiting some raids.

But still... where did the people go who made TBC? What was wrong with TBC? Seriously? Cata raiding is nothing compared to TBC raiding...

Nerfing old raid tiers will not get casuals back in middle of expansion. The overall content needs to be balanced at the start and give resonable progression for causal players. Thats not happening in Cata - In fact most casual have been going through hell from day one when even Heroic 5 mans were overtuned by miles for pugs at start.

BLizzard needs to find a resonable way to balance raids and 5 mans. Atm they are not and these nerfs are just a 100% proof that the content was overtuned by miles in the first place to drag the content along.

This overall really is a good thing people. The hardcores have already cleared all / a majority of the content. The casual raiders have atleast did their 12/12. Come 4.2, both of these groups will be headed to Firelands and quite frankly after a month or so I wouldnt be suprised if nobody touched BWD/BoT from either of these group's main raiding teams ever again aside from going for lulachieves in the future. So that leaves us with the flat out bad casual raiders, and alts being geared up to do current, aka Firelands, content. As T11 gear will already be available from JP's at that point, is making the same lvl raids available to all at that point really such a horrible thing?

    Now there are two options:

    or
    - Content will be easy and nerfed, so hardcore players will quit and Blizz looses players.

Basically those 2 options are true yes. WoW was still gaining subscribers in WotLK btw. During Vanilla and TBC the game was new, it was exciting, it was by far the best game in the genre on the market, there was stuff to explore.

However, this game is old now, very old in computer terms. It doesn't really matter what Blizzard does anymore because they're only going to lose subscribers no matter what. Many people have been playing for years, there isn't anything Blizzard can do with the current game that would be anything else than a slight facelift for a short time, everything has been done before and people have seen it all. The only way I see to still keep people playing and moderately interesting is to offer as much content available as possible so that it never gets REALLY boring, just _slightly_ boring but not enough for people to stop and move on to something else.

Blizzard is well aware of this, they'd have to be retarded to not see that the game is past its prime, thus the best way to keep subscribers is to offer as much content as possible to as many paying subscribers as possible. The casual model works best with that because, lets face it, the number of casuals who play now and then vastly outnumber the "hardcore raiders" in the playerbase. Blizzard is a company and wants to make profit like every other company in the world, they WILL do everything they can to keep as many people as possible as paying subscribers, anything else would be simply stupid from a business perspective, and I'm quite surprised that some people actually think that Blizzard will cater to what THEY think and what THEY want, instead of catering to the silent minority who are still paying the same amount. The world doesn't work like that.
