  • Hunter 4P: The effect which makes Shots cost no focus now also makes Kill Command cost no focus.
  • Mage 2P: This set bonus can now also be triggered by Frostfire Bolt.

You have some point Avuun... but really... you must be really bad to do not kill these bosses at normal difficulty now. I see it as letting bads play :/

fine imo, after we finish with the content nerf if for the casuals. better than having nerf'd content from day1 so i wouldn't complain to much

Well im glad they didnt nerf it while i was still raiding it...i dont really agree with it seeing that even pugs could do everything but nef on our server ( especially not if the nerfs really target only nonhc )

May as well just hug indefinitely and ignore wind burst entirely.

Poison Bomb damage has been decreased by 50%.

May as well just soak the damage instead of dpsing the adds.

A nerf here are there to make content more accessible is understandable. Making fights braindead encourages people to maintain a terrible standard. Can't wait to run heroics for some VP come next patch "NO SOZ I DON'T DO MECHANICS THATS FOR NUBS HURR DURR I R RAIDER K"
    +1 on this comment.

This basically sums up what the nerfs will lead to.

Even bads have a right to see content i suppose. While we hardcore raidres have t12 to have fun with. The bads have t11 as new content to play. Its fair as hell. Tier 11 is old content. The bads deserve being able to see it for the monthly fee they pay.

The sense of progression shouldnt only be for the elite.

The sheer amount of kids QQing about OLD content being nerfed is just...baffling. T11 = Old and busted. T12 = New Hotness.

It makes about as much sense as someone complaining about being able to faceroll the hell out of ICC at level 85. Of course you can! It's OLD content!

Get off your high horses and get your panties out of that ginormous wad and get over it. The other 10+ million people that pay $15 a month want a chance to see what the game has to offer, regardless of how it's delivered to them.

This "everyone should see the content" mentality is garbage. If they aren't good enough to play through the game's content then they shouldn't be playing it to begin with.

When ever a new raid comes into play the old one gets a nef so the people that are still progressing through can now get through it faster too get too the new content, whats the problem? people been bitching about this for how long now?g et over it, and too the ones that say bads or not hardcore, just please gfto honestly this game hasn't been hardcore since vanilla and 80% of you drop kicks never set foot in vanilla, let alone knew where mc,bwl was and these are the kids that want vanilla back even though they never witnessed how shit it was

Heh this is a pretty funny read in here...

Who cares if they're nerfing t11? If you're good you won't even be doing that content until you've cleared Firelands or you don't have enough of your good core players on for Firelands progress. I like the changes since it means my alts can do more than 8-10 bosses while having some less skilled players in the raid and while my alts are in t11 my main will be in t12.

I'd *might* be ok about this if:
-All achievements related to the content were removed and/or modified.
-There was an option to play the encounters in their original forms.

Sadly, it is not. There is no achievement, safe for Server/World Firsts that aren't beaten by waiting 3 months. And so the risk vs reward factor gets further flushed away.

Pretty surprised to see these nerfs for normal mode, I mean it was pretty easy from the get go. I guess they want to let pugs see it, but even pugs doing just 6k dps still arent gonna get a kill. You would have to nerf the bosses right in half for the much worse players to be able to do it.

Being good enough is only a portion of why some people are unable to see end game content. Full time jobs, full time student, full time parent, outside social life to prevent a game from taking over are a few others besides the "baddies can't play" portion.

Blizzard is running a business first and foremost, not making a digital playground for the "cool kids" to have fun in. $15 a month spread across a mere fraction of the population of the game that CAN play at the top of their class and plow through content is only a drop in the bucket compared to the "casuals" some of you seem to hate so much. So, since it's Blizzard's IP/Game/World/Playground, they deem it necessary, right and just plain "because we said so" to nerf older content.

I understand it, i support it and the age old adage "you can't please everyone" will always be prevalent with WoW and pretty much every MMO on the planet.

If the nerf's for normal only, fine, Defender of Shattered World never is a good title anyway.
If they decide to nerf heroic too that's a different story. I hate it when they make LoD available even now.

    Catering to bads ;P

Plus you can now pug t11 with your alts and actually have a decent chance of clearing the dungeon.

Why should I care if they nerf t11? I've been 13/13hm for a while now and only been raiding for 1 day a week for the past months. The true hardcore players will not care if the rest of the bads get to see the content.
  1. skylla05's Avatar
I do not see why people are complaining about content that will be nerfed. Most of the people complaining wont be coming back to the old content anyways.
Exactly. Most people complain for the sake of complaining.

For the people that are struggling, it's good and provides a smoother path to get into current content. For everyone that pretends their above the ease/difficulty, they'll be wiping in Firelands.

Nobody loses except people whos only sense of gratification is being cool in a video game.

The nerfs are for normal-mode only.

And honestly, why is everyone complaining? T11 content is NO LONGER THE MAIN THING. << Read that? Yes. I think it's fair to make it easier for those who haven't cleared the content yet. -_-
  1. Sammonoske's Avatar
I'm not QQing or anything, but that is one serious sweep of raid nerfs. In the end it is moot because T12 is available by then.
  1. Strakha's Avatar
If you haven't cleared all the raids by now, chances are you never will.
If you have cleared the raids, you have your pre-nerf achievement.

Dunno why anyone is mad about this, it happens in every content patch since ZG vanilla.
