DREAM Paragon just killed Ragnaros in 25-Man Heroic Mode! Congratulations to them!


Ragnaros: Too soon! (From Paragon)

Or was it? No, not really. Not if you ask us.

We've NEVER put as much effort into a kill as we now did on downing Heroic Ragnaros. We had a few grueling low percentage wipes and we were already planning on continuing early tomorrow with a better set of gear. Our kill attempt was going to be our last pull of the night as the thunderstorms and disconnects were kicking in.

Then everything clicked. All of our combined effort, practicing, theorycrafting and planning finally paid off. We had a near-perfect try and Ragnaros just melted away. A wave of relief washed over us. It was finally over. We wiped 500+ times on the boss, although I lost count at some point. Absolutely epic feeling after such an epic fight!

We'd really like to thank all of you guys for supporting us.     Very impressive. Would love to QQ about only one mage but by the time I actually manage to even attempt that boss, he'll have been nerfed so much that mages can be taken for things other than Time Warp and strudels.

    back in my days we had a huge problem with skilled mages for example. so we brought 1 mage for food/buff and put warlocks in the range dd slots
    those mages were defo less skilled than the sl locks, as you could defo see on their dps! we named that time when many mages became less skilled, sunwell.

    Bloodlust can be obtained by BM Hunter too (and they seem got 1) so maybe there is some other use with mage.

    Now lets gets real. Just because one of the best guilds in the world didn't use a bloody shaman in their rag kill, it doesn't mean that something is wrong with shamans.. Maybe on a previous fight they would have prefered 3 shamans and no hunters, it depends on the encounter. Guilds like paragon figure out Every single detail to know which classes and speccs are the most good things to use in a specific fight, thats why theres no shaman in this fight, im pretty sure of that...

    stop QQ about every single little thing damnit..

    Do you live on Planet Earth? A US guild isn't ever going to grab the WF on an endboss ever again. It hasn't happened since early Vanilla. Please, just get real already.

    But that is just how competitive efforts are. You work hard to prepare, then the contest begins and then it is over and you either won or lost and you celebrate/sulk and then the cycle starts over.

    I don't think either the sportsman nor Paragon would prefer having it any other way, or they would have chosen a different type of guild.
    Please stop comparing dragon slayers to professional athletes, thank you. Professional athletes train from very early on (sometimes 6 years old), they train from this point onwards more than 8 hours PHYSICALLY and mentally each day and often have a lot of health problems when they get older. They have a very strict diets and a very strict life, to get where they are they need to spend a lot of money which equals a little more than 3000 dollars for a gamer PC.
    On top of that they recieve more money and also are a lot (and I mean by a magnitude of a bazillion times) more recognized in the public.

    Though it wasn't a First Kill, it was the most important thing in the instance since it put them at #1 for the tier...Anub'Arak Tribute to Insanity by Premo...
