Update - For the record, the international codes 009 and 041 only seems to appear on Blizzard's online games trademarks. This isn't a book or anything like that. It appears incredibly likely based on previous trademarks obtained by Blizzard that this is the next expansion.

Mists of Pandaria
Blizzard just trademarked a very interesting "Mists of Pandaria".

For those using Blizzard's logic of "we don't want to just drop new races on you without introducing them to the players in WoW first."

    Let me list them.

    Tuskarr
    Tol'Vir
    Wolvar
    Iron Dwarves
    Vrykul
    Kvaldir
    Val'kyr
    Gorlocks
    Pygmies

Yes, you can argue that Tuskarr were introduced in WC3... but so were Belfs - and that was why the point of the comment was made that they were no were originally pre-BC. Plus, not everybody who plays WoW played WC3 (I didn't). Now, the only argument I could offer is that this might counter Pandaren as a playable race. But, I'd be surprised if Blizz didn't give people the demand they've been wanting for so long. They gave us flying in Azaroth, which is 200x more difficult to create than a bunch of Panda people. I still say I'd love Pandaren Monks to be the "hero class". You not only play a new class, but ONLY as a Pandaren!

How can you make a race into a class? A race is a race. Even if there was only one class available for them, Pandaren would still be a race.

Wow it would be pretty awesome if they go more into the pandas! This makes me look forward to Blizzcon

come on, people were all OMG CUDDLY YIFFY FURRY WORGENS CATACLYZM GUN BE SO BAD TROLOLOLOL aswell. pandarens will most likely not be a playable race as blizz has said in the past they wont be, not to mention the fail lore they'd have to make up for them to be deathknights.

Fanboys are obviously free to stay and enjoy the game even until the further expansion, which will probably be all about rainbow-colored little ponys of doom which will be sold and bought for real money at the Auction House...

And obviously they will find it "great", "cool" and "awesome".

    Whatever...

You may not be a fanboy, but you're obviously not even a fan. I've never heard of a Warcraft fan who didn't like the Brewmaster.

This must be the expansion where they clean up all the loose ends since launchWOW:MOP

People calling players "fanboys", because they like the game, or because they don't share their opinion about the game, are hilarious.

Blizzard is probably not going to add a race that can join both factions. Blizzard's developers have frequently discussed the importance of character silhouettes in their class design. They want players to be able to see the outline of another character and know instantly what faction that character represents. If there were a race that could represent either faction, that race's silhouette wouldn't provide any information about it's faction affiliation.

Since Blizzard isn't going to give Pandarin to just one faction if the title of the expansion is "Mists of Pandaria," I am confident that there will not be playable Pandarin in the next expansion.

Monks can be a class without being a race. Imagine a new set of zones called Pandaria in which the Pandaren NPC race has brought the monk class to the rest of Azeroth.

Why instead of Pandas, we get MURLOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait wait wait wait. Of course the monk can be a class. Not only can it be a class, it could be nothing else. A class is a certain profession, a group of individuals from different races (in most cases) that are living, acting and fighting in a certain way. A race is a group of people with the same genetic properties. But the question was not, whether the monk could be a class, but if Pandaren would be a class. And Pandaren most certainly is not a class - it's a race.

I played WoW since its Vanilla release, for years, month after month. I loved it, I clearly put an incredible amount of time and money in it.
So yes, I have been a fan for years, probably for a much longer time than many of those who post here, many even for much longer than you.
And no, I think that the idea of the Brewmaster is just a horrible rip-off of a D&D prestige class concept, attached to the joke which the "Pandaren" race was since the beginning. A joke. And someone really does think that attaching the image of a stupid raged kung-fu panda makes it look "cool" or "badass"? Oh, please...

So I am a fan. Maybe I have been even more than you and for this very reason I feel perfectly entitled to call fanboys not those who "disagree with me" (what a banal and naive reply, really...) but those who welcome as "awesome" and "cool" the idea that Blizzard could make an entire expansion over something which few years ago was so clearly ridicolous and silly that it was used by Blizzard itself to make a joke, a stupid joke.
Of course, you are perfectly entitled to do so. Exactly as I am entitled, after years of faithful affection for this wonderful game, to say that I think that today it is going down the drain.

And now, for all I care, you can even shot your silly "You won't be missed" line. /yawn

I like the pandas idea, but "Mists of Pandaria" is seriously the worst subtitle of the WoW saga .Think about Wrath of the Lich King... it gave the idea of something really evil upon you... now we have "Pandaria", that only reading it you have to smile because is simply ridiculous!

There already is a mail-wearing melee class. Besides, samurai are more or less like a rogue, but with an "Eastern" touch. It doesn't become better because it's foreign.

I actually cant care less. But if no one realises that its a major patch introducing the Pandaren in a questhub then i dont know what. It will not be the name of the next expansion since the next expansion will include defeating Sargeras and will feature "World of Warcraft - Guldan's Lost Temple" or somewhat close to that.Mists of Pandaria is like Magister's Terrace.........................................

    Are you retarded?

Argument from authority is a pathetic way of trying to prove a point. I've been a fan since Warcraft I, Orcs and Humans, and continued to love all the Blizzard games including WoW, even to this day. Does that mean anything to you? I'm going to assume no, because, why should it?

Besides, this is NOTHING but a title of a POSSIBLE "expansion" being released. There is nothing saying what it is about or anything, there are only implications, and making assumptions off that implication are a cheap way to argue.
