Patch 4.2.2 on Test Realms soon

Patch 4.2.2 on Test Realms soon?
A wild Patch 4.2.2 appeared on the test realms download servers a couple of hours ago, and it looks like we'll go through a bugfix patch before we get to see Patch 4.3.

Important - Most of these changes are nothing more than tooltip fixes to reflect Patch 4.2 Hotfixes already active on live servers. I'm mostly documenting them for the sake of it.

  • Challenger now also includes Vicious Gladiators.
  • Gladiator now also includes Vicious Gladiators.

Death Knight (Forums / Talent Calculator / Skills/Talents)
Blood
  • Improved Death Strike increases damage done by Death Strike by 40/80/120%, up from 30/60/90%. Increases critical strike chance by 10/20/30%, up from 3/6/9%.

Shaman (Forums / Talent Calculator / Skills/Talents)
Elemental
  • Shamanism gives an additional 32% benefit from spell power, up from 20%.

  • Deflecting Star is now bound when picked up.
  • Lava Bolt Crossbow now increases haste by 81 instead of mastery by 75. Increases critical strike rating by 88, down from 91.
  • Lava Bolt Crossbow (H) now increases haste by 92 instead of mastery by 85. Increases critical strike rating by 99, down from 103.

    didn't that guy who always bombards speculation threads with his "inside info" have something about 4.2.2 and WoTA in his sig?

    I don't really see why this patch needs to be tested on the test realms, it seems to be pretty straight forward, especially if those class changes are already implemented and it's just tooltip updates.

    Patch 4.2.2 is definitely going to get me to come back to this horrible game! You cant teach a old dog new tricks.

    And Yes Wota + 5 man should! be in 4.2.2 for few month (The loss of 900k sups could change this or not dunno)
    But 4.3 would Deathwing and 4.3.5 mostly N'zoth

    Corruption of Lordaeron would be one of the First Raids next xpac

    Tool tip updates, and other's are just changes that are not MAKE IT OR BREAK IT.

    Some trinkets received in Firelands (Apparatus of Khaz'goroth, Necromantic Focus, Vessel of Acceleration, and Matrix Restabilizer) are displaying incorrect stat values in their buff and item tooltips, the values applied are correct.

    they failed to recognize that the model of the deathblade is a bug, who would reuse the ugliest weapon model in cataclysm on this high-end weapon on purpose?

    If they lost 900k subs, surely they would want some more raids/5man ASAP? I guess Blizzard know better than me whats best Maybe they are thinking of putting in some changes to how the game is approached in either 4.2.2 or 4.3 instead.

    @Boubouille I noticed that the elementals you have to kill for the death from above achievement have been slightly changed. There are 3 up at the same time nowadays, didnt notice that before the hotfix patch. Dev.

    If you learned to READ, you would see all of these are already live. It's the VERY FIRST THING ON THE POST!
