Deep Earth Vestments

The design called for "phosphorescent mushrooms, reminiscent of Zangarmarsh," so our main concern was avoiding making a helm that looked like a giant toadstool sombrero. We’re always looking to incorporate interesting light sources within a raid set, and bioluminescent vegetable growth certainly provides that. Twisting, organic shapes are often key elements of a druid set, and this tier is no exception, with writhing plant roots providing a frame for the glowing clusters of fungi.

It's a good, solid druid set that looks like a druid would wear it. Nothing too over the top or ridiculous.I think people were asking for less silly sets and now they got one.

    Meh.
It's not ugly, but It's not pretty. It's Meh.

Transmogrification will fix it though. I was sure this thread would have been another pink horse head, nice catch
Hopefully it will scale better with Taurens.

Looks like the 346 blues with added shrooms. It's still nice though.

I like it very much, it's simple yet good looking. I like how the bright blue blends with dark green and brown. Are the blue bits shrooms?

I think the problem with druid sets is that blizzard is having a hard time defining what a "druidish" look is. At least that's the way I see it, druid sets seem to be all over the place in terms of inspiration and concepts.

I'm somewhat disappointed that they didn't include a blurb with this one. I like the thoughts on the set from the designers. Oh well, hopefully for others we will.

Pretty boring to me.. And I thought they were going for various bosses influences. This is influenced by.. what?.. Bog Walker? o_O'

Warriors get Deathwing, Warlocks get Faceless ones, Druids get.....a mushroom? Underwhealming set, was kinda hyped for something a little less generic and something a little more epic. It's sets like these that make me miss perma tree form

Wow. If I hadn't stopped raiding and slowly getting ready to stop playing all-together for a while, this post would be a really huge QQ.Besides the 'shrooms', this isn't really relevant to a Druid at all.. q_q

I love the detail of the gloves and robes but the shoulders and helm need too look better, to me it looks a lot like the Warlocks but reskinned.

It's not like most druids spend 70% of their time in an animal form anyway lol Wish blizz would focus on changing how they looked in animal form in different forms of teir than when they are no shapeshifted..

Doesnt matter to me I always look like a fat owl anyway, nice to see a simple set for a change though

When i think of druids, I think of Animals, Nature and Stars / Moon. I dont think it be to hard to think of somthing around that really... Could be somthing to do with the world tree or somthing.

I kinda hope (Tho we know they wont) go back and look at this set again and change the helm and gloves. There the only things i really hate about this set..
