Druid Tier 13 and Visual Retrospective
Blizzard released another Tier 13 preview and today's post features the Druid set, the Deep Earth Vestments.

Deep Earth Vestments


The design called for "phosphorescent mushrooms, reminiscent of Zangarmarsh," so our main concern was avoiding making a helm that looked like a giant toadstool sombrero. We’re always looking to incorporate interesting light sources within a raid set, and bioluminescent vegetable growth certainly provides that. Twisting, organic shapes are often key elements of a druid set, and this tier is no exception, with writhing plant roots providing a frame for the glowing clusters of fungi.

    Tier 2, tier 3 (pre naxx25) tier 5, tier 6, tier 10 and also tier 11 to some degree.. These are all very druid'ish sets with the nature looks to them.

    Most of the druid tiers have been bland and boring since the beginning anyways. Some classes get more creative tiers than others. It is what it is.

    Seems extremely conservative, which some people may like given some of the outrageous sets in the past. Does nothing for me, though. Not impressed.

    It's alright i guess, a bit on the simple side tho' . Hopefully priest one looks nice :-/ .

    Tier 13 is looking to be the best since Tier 6. Which is good because...

    the last 2 Tiers were hideous...

    Thank God for transmog, that druid set looks like a low end, cheap pvp set...Will be sticking with T11 looks on my drood

    t13 is...meh, it´s not bad at all, but it just doesn´t seem to have anything extraordinary. Just some pieces of armor with some fungi on it.
    Well maybe it has some nice effects, I loved the flowers on the T5 shoulders.

    I love it! Although it's the first set to have pretty much nothing to do with the Deathwing raid. Still, it's a pretty awesome looking set. I hope those mushrooms glow or something.

    Kinda weak looking imo, personally thought the best in druid was T4>T5>T6>T2. I mean can we have pants on more then one set of tier gear? the robes/dress is getting really old. "lol we can shoot majik so we shouldn't be a hussy and show our legs"
