Weapons, trinkets, rings, neck pieces, shields, offhand items, and the Robe of Glowing Stone are now class-restricted to their intended users. With the speed at which a Raid Finder group moves through a zone, we’ve found that it makes it challenging for players to evaluate loot decisions – by class restricting these items, we hope that the natural behavior will have a more positive set of results for everyone involved. This change will not apply to normal or heroic raid or dungeon loot rules.

Raid Finder and Need Plus are both very new systems, and we’re working to iterate on these systems rapidly to ensure that everyone has the best possible experience as we learn more about how players are using the system. Please keep in mind that this system is not considered complete and we have further plans to improve upon it within Mists of Pandaria.

If you looted an item from Looking for Raid which replaced another and you need Game Master assistance to recover your old item, please place a petition with the new item name, that you can no longer use it - and the old item name you need restored. I see by all these posts , that it can't be only blizzards fault , its how people deside they want to treat other people. When i go for LFR, i pass on everything i cant use , only need on what i can use. I guess this is the answer on, why I haven't won anything yet then :P But I wont go and do what some think is cool just to get loot, I guess at a point the roll will get my way for a loot too, and a loot I can use

Would love to see Rolls of Need based on Primary Stats as well as Roles (Int, Spirit, Str, Agi), ie Fury Warrior not being able to roll on a caster trinket simply because he is a DPS. Also,....the number one thing that I think would help tremendously in Loot distribution and just the overall improvement of players is a DPS/HPS threshold. I find it pretty ridiculous that the LFR is supposed to simulate a raiding environment but people that are pulling WOTLK numbers are winning loot. When was the last time people got rewarded for being terrible in a raid or in general, lol? If you gave a threshold it would make people research their class and learn as much about them as possible so that when they come into LFR they're actually competitive, this would also put an immediate stop to ppl that literally go AFK the whole fight and just wait until the end to ninja some loot.

Issue still isn't fixed. Balance druids winning agility stuff.

Definitely an improvement, but it seems like they've gone a step too far imo.The obvious example being shamans & paladins apparently now having to use (inferior) shields, and all the BiS-at-that-ilvl "healer" loot that shadow/elemental/balance are locked out of (and yet the ele/boomkin can still roll on agi items lol). I suppose it's better than it was but it seems like a swing from not-far-enough to too-far.

    I approve of this.

I saw 2 NoKalds drop and both being won by a DK. I wasn't even playing my shaman or rogue, but I felt bad for them. This is a great change imo. GJ blizz

This is a great step. Not quite perfect yet since we'll still see boomkins taking agi stuff, paladin dps taking healer stuff etc. but a huge step in the right direction.

Had 2 [Eye of the Unmaking] trinkets drop tonight. Same DK won both of them, then said "Ok whisper me offers on trinket".

Well, I like it overall, but, don't Warriors need something to put in their ranged/thrown slot? Oh well. I praise Blizzard for making these changes, this has never happened to me, but it sounds needed. Yay, increased odds for Kiril! Feral Druids for the win!

Kind of disagree with Robe of Glowing Stone being Priest only... With 3 red sockets and that socket bonus + reforging, that is a STUPID huge upgrade for a mage or warlock over ANY 378 gear. Plus, all 3 classes are gonna place it with tier eventually, I'd assume, so it's silly that it's limited to one class.

That said, this should solve the problem as much as is possible at the moment. I'm sure they'll add the "highest attribute" thing, OR have people queue as "Int DPS" or "Agi DPS" in LFR in mists, but I believe them when they say this is impossible or too difficult at the moment.

Well apparently every weapon is NOT a hunter weapon! Also expecting much rage about DKs being able to use souldrinker, since it's 1h and that means they will be dps.

Also, I'm feeling very unlucky! From reading the comments, as a DK it looks like I should expect to win every single roll. twice.

Piece of shit Balance Druid won both the Agi Trinket and Polearm...then another agi trinket drops on my next class and another POS Balance wins it..

Yes, DK's shouldn't be allowed to roll for their BiS gear because Warriors and Paladin's can use it and decided it's a tanking weapon. Thanks for the update pal!

Here is ranking for ya incase your too lazy to click link of frost DK weapons,
    1-Souldrink Heroic
    2-Hand of Marchok Heroic
    3-Souldrink Normal
    4-Hand of Marchok Normal
    5-Souldrinker Raid Finder
    6-Nokaled-Heroic

Also, people keep QQing regarding it being a tank weapon, you can make the arguement that it is 1-handed therefore was designed for frost DK's.

So what are they going to do about the players who Need on an item just because they can? They're stealing from players who legitimately want to equip the item.

Oh well. Now I will no longer be dragged into LFR to need on daggers and agility rings/trinkets for my rogue friend.

I find it unbelievable people in this game are such big Dbags or that out of tune with the game that they had to do this. But oh well, a victory for raiders everywhere.
