Cloud Serpent / Pandaren Serpent Mount Video - All Colors!
The Pandaren Cloud Serpent mount video posted 2 days ago was ridiculously popular and I figured I could go back to it quick to get all the colors. (Spoiler: They all look awesome.)



Mists of Pandaria Beta - Race Models
I missed models for 3 new races in the previous model updates, below you will find the Jinyus, the Mogus, and the Yaunkas.

We datamined the list of scenarios mentioned in the game files of the Mists of Pandaria Beta, not much but there's a Battle for Theramore there for those of you who were wondering if something is going to happen.

Updated Ragefire Chasm in Mists of Pandaria
Ragefire Chasm is getting an update in the expansion! The instance isn't getting a huge revamp like Scarlet Monastery or Scholomance, but it's getting modified to fit the lore!

    Oh I finally put my finger on why jinyu was so familiar! It's bloody 'goldfish' in mandarin Chinese.

    Seriously agreed. They do this with every single species...can't be assed to make female versions. I mean, look at taunka. Males and females, but males look unique and females are white tauren. Who's surprised anymore?
    Ugh I know D: I would have loved to see fem Djinn, "Dragonmen"(Maloriak), Tol'vir, furbolg, wolvar etc etc. I could go on and on. It prolly takes too many resources to make both but gosh durnit I'd like to see what the designers could come up with.

    For Yaunka, I don't remember seeing female Taunka. Could be wrong being all Alliance over here. Seen a female Ogre? They are hanging out with the female Mogu. A lot of NPC races don't have both sex models. I suppose it wastes art assets to give them both sexes considering it'd only be an aesthetic effect.

    Other way around. Racial mount is the Yaks - the Cloud Serpents are basically the Pandarian equivalent to the Wintersaber grind.

    I hope they stop calling it serpents. They are clearly modeled after chinese zodiac dragons. Its like calling lions cats.

    Is there a quote from the Devs confirming this to be the case? I like both mounts I just must've misread the quote. Having said that, I FREAKIN CALLED IT. I remember telling my guildies and RL friends that a Yak would be perfect. We don't have any bull-like mounts in the game and it fits the MoP theme. Can't wait to say I told you so

    Wrong. You get one netherdrake for free when you reach exalted rep, and there's an NPC back on the nether... whatever faction it is place that sells the others for (if I remember right) 200 gold.

    Yep: Drake Dealer Hurlunk is the NPC's name.

    I believe he is wrong, the Pandaren have been talked about to get a turtle land mount, and I think one of these serpents (this may be incorrect but Pandaren may not need the dailies don't judge me!).
    I think they also said anyone could get these but it would have 20 days of dailies just like the wintersaber nowadays.
    http://www.wowdb.com/items/82765-dragon-turtle-egg may be the land mount I talked about. I remember them saying someone about it just before beta in one of the interviews.

    Yeah yeah yeah, a Komodo Dragon is a lizard, a Kiwi is a bird. It's just a name, not an encyclopedical entry. Have a cup of tea and loosen those pants bit.
    Btw those mounts look SICK! Finally something I'm more than moderately excited about!

    even though Ive bought a yearly pass, I am still undecided if i will even buy the expansion. Its nice to see all these things they are adding but they seem to miss all the details of things already in-game - like why shoulder armor doesnt even sit right on most races, why my character is half hidden inside my mounts because its not positioned properly. small things like that add up. I like all the chinese themed stuff but if im really honest, im getting a little bored with it - and the beta isnt even out yet! I hope they have some good selling points for th expansion because im really on the shelf still about buying it.

    Jeeze, it's not Yaunka. It's YAUNGOL. Yak-Mongols, Yaungols.
