Ah, you said the "W" word, i didnt think people still had such bias.

People need to get over the "OMG PANDARENS ARE CHINESE. JAPANESE THINGS ON PANDAREN IS SO WRONG. SO OFFENSIVE."

Its not. Pandas =/= Pandaren. And Pandas arent even China's national animal. Its like putting Samurai armour on a Koala and thinking Australians would care.

Crazy you're replying to an argument I never made. I'm pretty sure I never once said the word 'panda'.

You are aware that Blizzard originally made the Pandaren Japanese themed in samurai armor and received a huge backlash from their Chinese base over it, hence them correcting the theme to be Chinese themed, right?

BTW, being an anime fan doesn't make you a weeaboo. Thinking that Japanese culture needs to be force fed down the throats of anyone partaking in anything remotely Asian is obnoxious, however. That's not a bias, and I use the word selectively.

Male Panda doing LMFAO is ...ugh.
I thought the arm swing part was heavily inspired by the Hare Hare Yukai dance actually. From what I can see it's a collection of 4chan dance memes.
It's funny, but there will be soooooo much butthurt about it on forums from xenophobe players.
And because it hasn't been said enough times yet: Male pandaren dance is downright awesome. Logging in on beta tonight just to turn on /dance for an hour or so.

Orcs have dark skin tones one could refer to as 'black'. Take Aggra for example.

Such bias? Are you flipping serious? You make it seem as if you're some down trodden abused group of humans that are fighting for your equal civil/human rights rofl.

Well I'm glad I never planned to play a female pandaren. I think they look terrible already and the dance is just another reason not to play one. They look like furry female dwarves =\

    4chan? Lulz
It's Caramelldansen (the Caramel Dance). Swedish song popular with anime characters dancing to it.

Uh...wouldn't xenophobe players not be playing MoP in the first place?

I promise you, what annoys a majority of people is how obnoxious a select group of people tend to be on insisting that anything which is Asian-related should automatically be Japanese because of "ANIME ^_^ ^^ ^^ ^^ TOTEMO KAWAII DESU ^____________^"

You dig? I'm just saying, try to see both sides of the aisle here.

Jesus, as much as Japan has cool stuff, the real world doesn't revolve around anime as much as some peoples' might.
Isn't this Caramelldansen japanese as well? Well, at least you see a lot of anime videos with it, so what's the problem?

Bringing weeaboo into it is pretty much asking for backlash.

And since when has Blizzard cared remotely about China?
They made an entire expansion out of undead.
The chinese then remade the entire expansion to fit for themselves.

And lets repeat that its an asian expansion.

How is saying Hare Hare Yukai would be better than the already quintessentially Japanese caramelldansen forcing Japanese culture down peoples throats? Its trading one for another. Most people wouldnt even know what it was - just like people in this thread not knowing what caramelldansen is.

To even use the word weeaboo means you must be pretty insecure of your own sense of culture.

    Carmeldansen is Swedish, not Japanese.

I just woke up all 45 core members of my guild's to tell them that Caramelldansen is the dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best part is that Carameldansen is a song from a Swedish group.

The problem is rather that small group completely freaking out, foaming at their mouth every time they see something even remotely otaku culture related. Caramelldansen (the dance itself) originates from Popotan, which is certainly 100% Japanese. Another reason for you to start raging, I guess

To say anyone who watches anime is instantly insecure with their own sense of place and magically loves everything Japanese over anything else is preeetty biased.

I know the Caramelldansen (<3 btw), but I haven't seen the LMFAO video enough times to know this was it (really not a fan)

Either way, this post made me ridiculously happy
