World of Warcraft®: Mists of Pandaria™ is launching on September 25, 2012 and you can be ready to play when the servers go live by pre-purchasing the game digitally. Plus, for the first time ever, players will have the option to upgrade a pre-purchase to the all-new Digital Deluxe Edition which comes with all of the in-game items from the retail Collector’s Edition, including a World of Warcraft pet and mount, banner sigil and accent for Diablo® III, and Battle.net® portraits for StarCraft® II.

Beginning September 25, 2012, World of Warcraft players around the world will be able to set sail for the long-lost continent of Pandaria, where they’ll explore forgotten dungeons, vanquish risen evils, and play their part in the Horde-Alliance conflict as it reaches a critical breaking point.

Whether you plan to level your existing character to 90 or start fresh with a new pandaren monk, it’s never too early to begin preparing for your adventure. Simply log in to your Battle.net® account, and then pre-purchase Mists of Pandaria. You’ll then be flagged to automatically download the expansion content prior to release so you’ll be ready to go when the game launches.

During the pre-purchase process, you’ll have the option to grab either the Mists of Pandaria Standard Edition for $39.99 USD or the all-new Digital Deluxe edition for $59.99 USD -- or, if you snag the standard edition now and decide you want to upgrade to Digital Deluxe later, you’ll have the opportunity to do so for an additional $20.

The Digital Deluxe edition includes a full digital copy of the expansion, as well as a selection of Pandaria-inspired in-game content for World of Warcraft, Diablo III, and StarCraft II. If you’re looking for even more plunder, a special Mists of Pandaria Collector’s Edition with additional bonus items will also be available exclusively at select retail locations for a suggested retail price of $79.99 USD.

For more details on the September 25, 2012 release of World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, be sure to hit the official press release, or head to our new Mists of Pandaria game page to learn more about the expansion and prepurchase your digital copy.

*When you pre-purchase World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, you will be able to download an encrypted version of the game once it’s available, prior to the game’s release. This content will be unlocked and available

Enjoy the extremely outdated graphics and content that they reuse over and over. Main thing is support other games and play other games and you will see what wow has become over the years and it's pretty sad what they do to there customers.

And Question? How many years have you played wow? And would you not agree the expac should be free since you pay a sub and the graphics and content are less then sub par?
These kind of comments -_- I do not want which bugs me more, people who are obviously easily persuaded by forum posts and repeat the same verbal diarrhea at every opportunity, or the WoW fan boys who think Blizzard can't do wrong.

OT; I am honestly looking forward to this expansion. I had not been very excited with WTLK or Cataclysm, though, this expansion I am genuinely pumped for. Likely because of WoW current state, suppose i'm looking forward to playing again

This is good news, but sadly I don't think my computer will run this (single core, running on its last legs, and don't have any money for a replacement). So I'm just going to have to sit this expansion out.

I'm going for the Boxed CE the cards they give you have a chance to give a mount you can sell for tons of gold. When I bought the Cata CE I got Landro's Box and in it was the red rocket flying mount sold it for 100k. Also the chance of getting a rare pet and I'm a big pet collector.

Just realized that that only gives one week of WoW-free time once Borderlands 2 comes out.

SKU is being added tomorrow for it

"Deluxe" digital editions are such ridiculous ripoffs. The three items you get with this are less than what you used to get for a normal-priced preorder of any game.

    No sh*t?
If they weren't a cash driven company they would not be the financial success they are today. If a company if not cash driven it's called a non profit organization.

As for your other question I have played for 7 years, and why would anyone expect to get 3 years of someone's work and resources for free.

You obviously have some kind of problem with Capitalism.
Did you write your post from your Kindle fire ,drinking Starbucks coffee and eating a McDonald's hamburger, while sitting with your friends at an Occupy protest rally?
Seems the only person who is blind to things is you by your own statements. You obviously do not understand how business works.

    Sorry? What?

I was expecting an earlier release date ... this means two more month standing in Stormwind ...
I really can't understand why all the people here are so excited about this date. I am honestly thinking about pausing my account again.

Great they can still make money with such a badly made game that's all filler and no killer.

Been playing since TBC came out but I for one will not be falling for the usual hype around the game and all the promises they make and fail to keep AGAIN. Good luck to all playing it, i hope ye get ye're money's worth but I for one am finally hangin up my lootz.

Game is a joke, people will be bored and fed up of the content after a short time again and be back to square one but by then blizzard will have your money and no fucks will be given.. just oh yeah everything will be fixed in patch such and such.. and keep repeating that till its next exp time.. then OH LOOK SHINY THINGS OVER HERE!!

Also the fact they are releasing it even earlier just shows how unfinished it will be.. look at previous releases in oct that haven't been even remotley ready and full of bugs. Shovin this crap out.. so bad!

This game actually took longer than other ones. 26 months since it launched, while the others are around 20-24.

In any case, you anger is just pathetic.

Good to see people are still crazy fans. lol I'm a so/so fan. I'm glad for a release date, I'll play. I won't play WoW the weekend of August 25th (headstart for GW2 woot!). I hope they do the launch event 2 weeks before, not a month before.

Blizzard do free server transfers. If yours is as dead as you say, just wait until that rolls around.

Then you'll have to choose between gold and activity unless they server merge (they won't).
They did free transfers TO my server about 3 years ago the last time(and it's about the least populated server in the whole game according to population infos online)...and none away from server as long as I play(since classic). So far about that...and still...I joined a MMORPG...but right now there are about 10 players in the horde capital(which is the more populated fraction on the server) at best playing time(8 o'clock in the evening). That's not an mmorpg...that's not even an morpg anymore...that just sorpg.

I am happy to see a release date at last but hoping it was a couple of weeks earlier than it was because we are starting to raid DS again next week so now I have to sit through another 2 months of it /cry

    But yay for release date!
