Raid Finder difficulty will drop ilvl 528 gear, while Flexible mode will provide 540 gear. Normal mode gear is 553 and Heroic drops are 566. Warforged items will have an additional 6 item levels (Normal & Heroic only).

How will the heirloom weapons from Garrosh function?
The heirlooms that drop from Garrosh will function between levels 90 and 100. The first heirloom weapon that drops for you will be for your current loot spec, but afterwards it will be random. These weapons are not available in LFR difficulty level.

What is the item level required to queue for Siege of Orgrimmar LFR?
In order to queue for Siege of Orgrimmar LFR, players must have an item level of 496 or better.

With the Vale destroyed, what has happened with the Golden Lotus faction and Reputation?
The Golden Lotus quest hub will no longer be available. The faction will still exist and reputation can still be earned by: killing the sha and rare mobs that spawn throughout the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, completing Work Orders on your farm, and using Stolen Golden Lotus Insignia that drop from Zandalari Warscouts and Warbringers.

Can the legendary cloak be transmogrified?
No. At this time, legendary items still cannot have their appearance transmogrified into something else, nor can other items be transmogrified into the appearance of legendary items. However, the proc effect of the cloak will display even if you have your cloak graphic disabled, are in a druid form, or a warlock form.

What is happening in Orgrimmar?
The rebelling Horde members along with Alliance forces are attacking Orgrimmar in order to depose Garrosh Hellscream. For gameplay purposes, Horde players will still be able to use Orgrimmar as usual, save for the troll NPCs in Valley of Spirits whose businesses are still shut down by Kor’kron soldiers. A few NPCs seen in the Siege of Orgrimmar raid will be visible in the non-instanced version of the city.

Will any catch-up changes be implemented for players still on earlier stages of the legendary cloak quest chain?
Yes. If you aren't caught up yet, you can collect Sigil of Power and Sigil of Wisdom from all of the Throne of Thunder bosses. If you are a little further along, you can collect Sigil of Power, Sigil of Wisdom, Secrets of the Empire, and Titan Runestone from the first eight bosses in Siege of Orgrimmar.

Has the drop rate of items in old raids been increased?
Yes, the drop rate of loot from kills and bonus rolls has been increased for Mogu'shan Vaults, Heart of Fear, Terrace of Endless Spring, and Throne of Thunder on Raid Finder difficulty. The chance for awarding loot from using a bonus roll has been increased for Throne of Thunder on Normal difficulty.

Is there a debuff to make Throne of Thunder easier now?
Yes, all enemies in Throne of Thunder now have a debuff called Shado-Pan Onslaught, which reduces their health and damage by 20%.

Where do I queue for Proving Grounds?
To queue for Proving Grounds, please see the Trial Master Rotun in the Temple of the White Tiger in Kun-Lai Summit, or any of your class trainers.

Will there be a new raid "coin" version of Mogu Rune of Fate for bonus rolls in Siege of Orgrimmar?
Yes, it is called Warforged Seal and has a maximum cap of 10. These can be obtained from completing the new weekly quest that replaces Patch 5.2's weekly quest.

How will I obtain Mogu Runes after the patch?
The Mogu Rune of Fate will be purchasable from Mistweaver Ai in the Timeless Isle for 2,500 x Timeless Coin. The cap has also been increased to 20, up from 10.

What will happen with Battlefield: Barrens?
Battlefield: Barrens will end as the story moves on to the assault of Orgrimmar in Patch 5.4. Most of the quests and items associated with this event will be going away as well as the unique titles players could earn for completing the quest chain. However, the Kor'kron Supply Satchel, Gahz'rooki's Summoning Stone and Raptorhide Boxing Gloves will still be available as a random drop from Kor’kron mobs in the Northern Barrens. Have there been any big PvP changes?
Yes, Base Resilience was increased to 72% from 65% and Battle Fatigue was increased to 55%, up from 45%. PvE gear will be scaled down to 496 in Battlegrounds, Rated Battlegrounds, and Arenas with the cap increasing by 1 every week. Conquest point amounts from winning random battleground have been increased by 50%.

You will also find that arena teams no longer exist, so you can play with any of your friends. Each player will have a personal rating that increase or decrease based on victories and defeats against other rated opponents. Opponents will be selected based on the average Match Making Rating of the party. This means that the Arena ladder is now region wide.
