Blizzard Trademarks "Corgis Unleashed" (Okay, not really)
It's time to end the fun party we've been having for the past 24H. As it turns out, it's pretty easy to add whatever the hell you want on a .gov website. According to this new page, Blizzard just trademarked Corgis Unleashed, a game that according to our sources would kind of look like this.

Edit: Apparently the original news was too subtle, the "Corgis Unleashed" trademark was registered this morning for fun, as it turns out, there is absolutely no check and anyone can register something under Blizzard's name. This is an application, not a confirmation, you don't even need to pay the $275 application fee.

We probably jumped on the bandwagon a little early and I spent the past 24H double checking stuff since it was basically everywhere, I guess today is just not the day. Sorry guys, going to call the whole The Dark Below thing a hoax.

... with the name changed a few minutes later when he probably realized he'd gotten the words wrong. It's called trolling.

If this is sarcasm, I had to play around a bit to get the right link lol. Look again at my original post.

So someone makes a fake one that fools people only to make an obvious fake one hours later to disprove it?

At the very least i'd say not the same people behind each, fishy at best.

Pretty sure that submitting fraudulent information on the application is illegal, so whomever is responsible is probably going to find this joke a tad expensive.

At least Wow Insider, who seems quite reluctant to cite anything from MMO-C, will get to share in this lil' incident.

Its not from Blizzard. His point was that the picture was taken by the person who owns that youtube channel which is most likely the poster. It shows the video options and stuff that would only be there is he was logged into the channel himself.

    I'm still calling it legit.

Look at those tentacles up close in the new pic. Really well done. It's not some quick photoshop job.

They are 3D and interacting with the border. I'm sure it's actually an animation. The tentacles probably crawl through the logo.

if you search WorldofWarcraft to find the channel for some reason it says 86 videos but then when you click on a video it says 73. not sure why.

In all the excitement about Corgi's, an expansion I would actually buy, what got overlooked is the fact that Boubouille is publishing news posts again. Haven't seen that in awhile and though that Chaud fellow isn't bad either, as a long time reader of this site its nice to see Boubouille's name on the front page again.

Wow. I don't know what's real anymore. Well played, whoever came up with that. And if this is Blizzard tricking us, well played Blizzard.

It says 85 but yes you're right, could be 12 videos hidden from the public, idk.

the funny thing is if you do a google image search for "the dark below" there is an image that someone posted on an mmo forum that has the same exact lettering for the words the dark below but there are no tentacles or anything. so the person that make the youtube image obviously stole some artwork for the other image. this is just one more reason why both of the these images are fake..

If you put that YT screenie through ELA it doesn't really show anything out of the ordinary, If it's fake that's expertly done.

A lead in this mystery would be if last week it said 85.

also since when has blizzard made a world of warcraft logo without the globe with azeroth on it behind the lettering. this image has some weird thing in the background. not a globe.
