That's actually a very good idea and point. "of Draenor" doesn't necessarily mean "on Draenor" or in the past.
It also illustrates that we got Alleria and Turalyon promised to us long ago. How would they figure in time travel to Draenor's past, when they don't arrive there until the happenings of Warcraft 2: Beyond the Dark Portal? Ofc they could arrive from somewhere and travel back in time with us, but it seems...convoluted.
Which is again, why this just doesn't make sense so far.

Can't wait for Blizzcon just to get answers.

Outlands is a VERY small portion of what Draenor used to be. If Draenor is similar to Azeroth, then the Outland is smaller then one of the various continents- and Draenor probably never experienced a sundering before the opening of the portals. So yea. The Outland is part of Draenor. The Outland is NOT all of Draenor. I think that we will most likely go to an unbroken part of the planet to do... various things. Mostly kill things and collect lewtz.

I was gonna write something similar to this, if we get indeed back to draenor, outland will be insignificant in size compared to Draenor, after all in outland went all betrayers etc, we have yet to encounter Draenor as whole.

The only way we´re going to see Draenor as a whole is with Timetravel . otherwise we wont see it. But i was more thinking of all the visions we saw from the Timeless isle. What if someone goes back in time to stop the planet from going BOOM?. I know there might never be a horde and such but yeah, some funny ideas still

Found it weird that Boub went out and said that The Dark Below was Definitely NOT the next expansion..

Also a good point, going to a never having been shattered Draenor in the present - BUT that implies a whole boatload of lore retcons that would annoy the hell out of me personally. Would basically nullify everything that happened in WoW thusfar.

Thats incredible! Gives me that original feel of vanilla classic wow box with an orc on it. Grommash Hellscream is badass, I would love for us to get back into time and see the first 2 wars in timeline of Grom and Thrall.

Any of you noticed how Boub point blank says '' Blizzard trademarks Warlords of Draenor - WoW expansion'' on the title on the front page, when in the past, all 3 of his trademark announcements that were actually expansions, have just been ''Blizzard trademarks Cataclysm'', for example.

Just adding to the fishyness. I personally have no issue with anything personally because we literally know jackshit about ANYTHING (yes, im looking at you people who say that they're done). Its just really wierd that he says that this is it. When previusly, he just informed us about said trademark, throwing us off?

It's because it's definitely not, we already know this information.

Sigh. Can't wait for Friday so all the Dark Below and "Hearthstone Expansion" folks are quieted down. This community is ridiculous sometimes.

Whether or not its the WoW Xpack or not I'm still wondering why we haven't seen it in the United States Trademark office. Does NZ and Aus required a product TM longer before release than the US?

So, the one ''WoW expansion leak'' that seemed to be the most fake of all is actually the true WoW expansion? That's interesting...though I still don't see how having Grom as the main antagonist makes any sense what so ever, but we'll see.

Sounds like a terribly bland name for an expansion...

kinda like this better than "dark below" especially as one who's main server is.... DRAENOR.

I really don't think it's going to be time based, since the aspects gave up their powers the bronze dragonflights wouldn't have the power to travel in time.

He said TDB *might* be the expansion when the name was registered. He has now stated WOD *IS* the expansion. Which means he has been told by his Blizzard contact that this is the next expansion. Which is what happens prior to every Blizzcon when there is a WoW expansion announced. Boub always posts the details here just before Blizzcon.

Had he said "WOD might be the expansion" then I would be as unsure as you.. but for him to say it IS the expansion means he has been told it is by someone he trusts within the Blizzard setup.

Yep anything that even remotely respects lore sounds bad am I rite. We should instead bring titles such as The Dark Below, Legion Rising, Return of zomgwtfbbq super mega cool awesomesauce etc...

Corny titles such as Cataclysm are bad imo. Warlords of Dreanor is probably one of the best titles for an expansion to date. (Except for Legacy of the Void wich still holds the crown)

I have the feeling this x-pac will get me 110% back in the game again! True warcraft lore? Yes please.

I am seeing a lot of "Yay, true Warcraft lore!" folk. Seems really silly to me. Not only is Warcraft and ongoing progressing story, but if this is indeed about time-travel, this will be squeezing new stuff in between the old, rather than putting it at the current end, which seems in no way superior to me. Worse, it's likely to bring changes to the established lore. Sounds like a pretty bad idea to me.

I honestly hope this isn't the WoW expansion, but rather a side game that tells the story of the events on Outland prior to WoW to set up the final expansion. Something along the line of a Tell tale game, or even an RTS.
