That.. plus RED AND SPIKES, TUSKS, BONES, CHAINS just feels generic, especially what with the next expansion and the fact that most mounts and armor will be based on that already.
Because having a bronzed eagle head on the front of a bike is just rare.
I am inclined to believe Samwise will have a better concept because, you know... it's Samwise. lol
Hmm, they said the winning bike would be made into a mount. The fact that they said nothing about the losing bike one way or the other did not escape my attention. Anyway, it was a fun enough watch, though a bit shorter than I was expecting. The format with the aside comments and misleading edits is something of an industry standard nowadays and probably lifted directly from the American Chopper show, so I can't really fault them for it.
Can't say I was expecting tank treads on either of the bikes. Probably due to the fact that the game already has a couple motorcycles with regular wheels. Should make for some unique mounts, however they turn out.
Yeah, I'm not feeling it. Plus that's going to be painful to model into this game. Too much detail might end up with a flat triangle with texture on it.
Man, I know you americans can be a little bit crazy sometime .. but woah, this is a bit much. I can't imagine something like this being produced in Europe, it's just so...
As if most terrible reality shows don't originate in the UK.
Also, not sure why you think this is taking so many resources. Six guys spending probably a grand total of 4 hours to provide feedback and direction on commissioned bikes being manufactured by professionals, and some filming and editing by the DVD Production Department that handles interviews and behind the scenes featurettes.
It's not like they're pulling programmers and artists off the front lines to live together in a house and sing karaoke every week.
As if people needed any more assurance that World of Warcraft is over, and Blizzard is dead, we have a redneck reality TV show to prove it.
RIP Blizzard 1994-2008
Redneck? Paul, JR. lives in California that is a TV show about California motorcycles. I'm somewhat of a redneck born in Texas, live in Louisiana but I do not have a red neck because I'm not trash. I hardly know any real rednecks that watch his show. My father does only because he is a car/cycle guy.
Maybe I'm just not into choppers but those bikes looked terrible imo. Looked like the design a 12 year old would make when told to make a really cool/savage motorcycle. Also Horde/Alliance bikes look almost exactly the same except one is a tricycle the other one isn't
Congrats you made me LOL IRL! I think both look stupid too, tank treads?! REALLY?! Where in the hell are just regular wheels?! Anything tank tread on a bike looks stupid as hell and looks like it wouldn't do very well with turns...
I like the Horde design better more of a trike design.Alliance bike I am not feeling that one and seems like more of a 2 tread snowmobile. But I know these are nothing more then frames of the bike so I could change my mind after they are both complete.
Man, I know you americans can be a little bit crazy sometime .. but woah, this is a bit much. I can't imagine something like this being produced in Europe, it's just so... lame is the word I think? Yeah. Sorry to say, but when I listen to them, how "serious" they are about it? It's just.. heh, well, I guess some people will enjoy this show but I'd rather see them waste their time and resources on something else. Like, you know... building a new lore. Working harder on connecting their gaming universe - hearthstone inside world of warcraft for example. Doing TV show from warcraft / diablo / starcraft. Anything but this would be more interesting I guess.
And that's why most people think Europe is a 3rd world, lol. Basically those are snowmobiles I don't know if they are street legal in California or elsewhere but we will see.
The tank-trike style looks good for Horde, but the Alliance bike needs wheels. Tank-treads just don't look right there.
i disagree. alliance has steam tanks comin outa there butts all the time, the horde are the ones who need wheels the treads fit alot better with the alliance and their steampunkyish tech.
so far i think the alliance one looks better. but its just the base so who knows which will look better
It would have been nice however to have at least one actual chopper come out of this whole Azeroth Choppers thing. The Alliance bike should definitely ditch the tank treads.
And as far as only one faction getting the bike, that's clearly a ploy for voting purposes. They'll give out the winning faction's bike first, then finish up the second one and release it a bit later for FREE. They aren't going to make anyone pay for the other faction bike; not at this point with all the other money controversies going on.
The only way I see them monetizing this is that if you redeem the bike on one faction, you have to buy it for the other.
