Are you smoking something? They are being sold on there and how on earth would Eventbrite's ToS have any way to stop that? lol

I don't see the point of going this year anyways. What can they possibly announce. Heroes of the Storm relase day? No thanks, dont care. Only other thing i can think of at this time which seems highly unlikely is some news about Titan, but i dont think people are that exited about it anymore. I know im not. And despite all that, they raised the price this year, which is kinda laughable if you ask me. Just my 2 cents on the matter. You dont have to agree with me, and you may even have other reasons to go. To me personally i still think its a waste of time.

Why on earth would you go to blizzcon to hear a release date? I'd imagine most go for the festivities.

Scalpers already have a crap-ton of tickets up on eBay. Those people make me sick... most people who want to go can barely afford to go as it is, and they happen to have some cash lying around so they're able to make a ridiculous profit? Ugh.

    1) If they can barely afford to go, then perhaps they shouldn't, and maybe they should re-examine their priorities in life.

    2) If people "happen to have some cash lying around" - it doesn't mean it is just some evil guy at a computer with a stack of pizza boxes who lucked into a little spare change to scalp tickets with.

    3) The buyer is just as responsible, who also has the "cash lying around"...those people don't make you sick too? It seems simply that people with more money than you make you sick.

    4) Revisit #1. Execute the plan.

They really should do something about reselling tickets though like a bigger fee for changing information or something. I know with the photo and stuff needed to be sent it would be hard. My current understanding is you buy the ticket and can resell it as you have so long to supply name/photo etc etc.

They should lock the name on the ticket when you buy it and then require you to send some ID with photo to prove it was you who made the purchase. (although i guess this means no presents for people)

It would maybe cut down on all those ebay tickets at stupid prices.

    Here's the badge pickup process

    1) stand in line
    2) when you get to the front of the line, they ask for a barcode which they email you that has your name on it
    3) they scan barcode and check your ID and compare it to the name on the barcode to make sure you're you.
    4) They hand you your badge(s) and your baggy(s) and send you on your way.

    Here's the upstairs security process
    1) flash badge at security guard
    2) walk in

They don't even check your ID upstairs, they just wave you in (unless you have a bag of some kind, they search that for computers and stuff). So, if you put John Blow on 4 of the badges, and your ID checks out, you can give three of those badges to some random asshat and they get in.

If Blizzard would limit the number of tickets that can be bought in a single transaction it might help. If only 4 tickets can be bought at a time then the scalpers would have to get back in line with everyone else.

rather buy the virtual ticket its very expensive to fly from the UK to the west coast of america your looking at over $2000 to go to blizzcon, but as always there will never be any events in other countries just due to shipping and shit like that, last event in europe was the WWI 2008, so to any posters after me they will never make a blizzcon for EU since blizzard is a US company they favor US people just like all other US businesess even mmo c hampion favours US since when they post there monthly builds its always from newegg ( who dnt ship to EU) and in US $.

EU subscription should be cheaper t owow

If you're going to travel to Blizzcon from outside of California you should probably just build a vacation around it. Disney World is right near the convention center.
