Artcraft - Son of Exodar - Male Draenei Character Model, Heart of the Valorous Buff

Oh wow, such insight on design approach... and I was afraid that male draenei might lose the underdog spot to someone else but then pointless bs artcraft happens, guess I should be happy. Please, bring on the pretty boy elves so ppl can forget that male draenei even had an update.

I do like the fact that they restructured the upper torso to look more realistic, but they made the face more, human?
The single most alien race in WoW now looks a little more human...

He means better quality than the classics.

The trolls are taking longer than usual because of their lips and tusks being animated, they looked ridiculous at first after the update.

I like 'em! At long last they are more decently proportioned so you've no longer got this musclebound fridge of a torso supported by a pair of breadsticks. It was the weirdest thing about the Diraianeneaieaiue males. MASSIVE TORSO, ickle little legs and teeny tiny pin hooves.

The model looks great! I love the face expressions, they make him look much more funny and lighthearted.

I will agree that the face tentacles are a bit off. They seem to be a bit less saturated and more light in color and it makes them stand out. As for the tentacle jewels, I think that they should thin the rings near the face (like the original) because it will make them look less 'attached' to the face. Making the rings themselves less saturated would also be smart.

All in all, great job!

Good work, only as already mentioned tentacles look like they are seperatly attached to the head and not like they are part of the head. Perhaps a better fitting texture can fix this.

The neck and shoulders look a bit off. Otherwise this has been my favorite male update for the new models.

Heart of the Valorous Buff This Weekend

Why can't Blizz add this buff on a Tuesday when it makes the most sense? I'm already capped on all the characters I care to cap.

new tentacles are still in development. the old ones have been attached here. The tentacles require additional work since they have to fit on better with various states and they're making new tentacle styles.

Better yet, why the fark can't Blizzard just up the Valor cap to 1500 or even 2k, instead of the paltry 1000? (Of course, I could say remove the cap, but we all know that's as likely to happen as another totally honest politician being elected President.)

To the issue of the Draenei models: Meh. So far as Alliance races goes, I'm happy with the Dwarves; eventually want to see the update to the Worgen. Otherwise, bring on the Blood Elf, Undead (properly fleshed out) and Troll models. Yeah, few people around here think that Velen is the better model - that opinion is wrong.

The velen model is awesome compared to what we have now. Notice how he isn't blocky and doesn't look like a fridge? So step in the right direction.

I admit to being a bit inebriated at the moment; but I assure you nowhere in my post did I reference tentacles. Not even once. #ConfusedManWithBuzzAura

Why do they keep doing this vp buff at weekends only! I can't be the only one that has a social life at weekends and only plays the odd week nights. Why not just switch on for the whole week like before?!

most probably due to too many people not logging on during weekend - to make world artificailly more alive they apply this so that some people may log on thier alts that they dont play too much/

Neckless draenei is the new black.

The new models looks pretty cool, i like them!
