7.0 information during closing ceremonies? Here's to hoping!

Is it just me or is it very "light" on actual panels? There's like nothing planned for 2.5 hours after the opening ceremony apart from the tournaments. Also there seem to be a complete lack of lore/art panels for any of the games?

Well this seems to be one of the most boring Blizzcons in a long time. No exciting panels and it seems no place or time for any new announcements gamewise.

Lots of tournaments, which doesn't interest me. Meh.

So no big WoW announcement. Quite unfortunate, I was hoping for a bit more of a spectacle.

Looks so boring in my opinion... Think I won't be buying a virtual ticket this year.

Well we know everything thats going to be out in WoW for the next year. No need to ruin next years Blizzcon. People expecting next expansion reveal are going to have a bad time.

    My thoughts exactly.

Especially light on WoW, it seems.

Not a lot of any stuff. There isn't even a single actual hearthstone panel outside of "How to become an arena legend". Players are expecting some announcements for the next installment for it. Game is already getting boring again.

As for WoW, I get it. WoD hits a few days after the expansion. But seems a bit bare bone to me.

Have they announced release date for the patch yet?? People keep saying it's next week but I can't find actual information anywhere...

With it being right before xpack, the only thing I was hoping they would do for WoW is movie stuff, so seeing a panel for it makes me happy.

Doesn't look very interesting...glad not bought a virtual ticket and won't be now.

Are these panels avaiable on youtube after Blizzcon? I kinda wanted to see the StarCraft one.

The much-announced faster release cycle really won't work with those kinds of yearly Blizzcon announcements. Curious how they'll handle that.

Looking forward to the movie panel.

And, do we know who performs at the end?

They could at least fill it up a bit with some more Q&A's, I remember the 2010 Blizzcon when they didn't really have that much new to show WoW-wise. But they at least gave the people a chance to speak by having seperate lore, class, open Q&A's lasting an hour each.

Looks like it's going to be Blizzcon 2010 all over again. I'm personally looking forward to another long rant from Chris Metzen about what "Geek is"... /FLAME ON!
