Week 1 - Get Prepared!


Blizzard has given us some beta keys to help you prepare for The Legion! This week you will need to kill Illidan to enter the contest.

  • This giveaway is for 500 US/EU Legion Beta keys!
  • To enter kill Illidan between May 19 and May 29 and then log in to the contest site.
  • You will need to log in with your Battle.Net account (It's safe!) so that we can confirm the kill.
  • You can be sure that you are entered by checking the contest status page.
  • The status page is updated daily, but as long as you kill Illidan between May 19 and 30 your entry will count.
  • Only one entry per account, no matter how many times you kill Illidan.
  • Winners will be selected on May 30
  • You will need to check back to see if you have won and claim your key.
  • Winners will have 72 hours to view their key. After that another winner will be selected.

    just killed illidan like 30 min ago updated the battle.net login still says my last kill was in december....

    There are a bunch of characters in the queue. If it still isn't updated after 24 hours, then worry!

    Just killed Illidan and the page won't let me update.

    So now it says my last kill was September 6, 2014, 10:03 AM. Despite the fact that:

    It is an updated model. I'm in beta, and did Black Temple on my DH.

    I did BT about an hour ago and it still says its updating. I logged completely off several times.

    Same as many people : I killed Illidan this morning, more than 40 mins ago, and still nothing despite refreshes...

    It does not work,i just kill him,i leave the game but the message appair "Your characters are still updating! Refresh this page in a few minutes." When i refresh "Force Update" the message appairs again "Your characters are still updating! Refresh this page in a few minutes."...

    Kinda lame to have to reactivate my account into a patch of nearly a year old content...
    To go kill a boss I've killed countless times before, to get the first beta wow invite in the idk 10y+ I've been playing blizzard games

    Could mmo champion pls do the next beta key giveaway about something that has been done in the past? It may still be achievable but its really lame to have to go reactivate the account I think. If you really want to only give pple a beta key that actually play wow, I get that! But there's multiple achievements that the supercasual pleb rarely has in wow that doesn't require the 'achievement' to be done recently.

    June 24 (with the release of Patch 6.2)
    Hellfire Citadel Normal and Heroic difficulties open.

    It updated, but it took the characters on my inactive US account, not my active EU account where I've killed Illidan today.. Hopefully my EU account will get updated before it's too late!

    EDIT: There we go, EU account fully updated! I am now in, woo!
