The Bonus Events system consists of a rotating schedule of different activities, currently scheduled to run each week beginning on Tuesdays. Each Bonus Event grants a passive bonus to a particular game activity and offers a once-per-event quest with a noteworthy reward for accomplishing a related goal. The in-game calendar can serve as your one-stop reference for the event schedule. The Adventure Guide also offers a direct link to active Bonus Events, allowing you to easily accept any associated quests.

Patch 7.1 includes several changes to WoW UI functions, and we wanted to call extra attention to a few of them, as they may break some functionality provided by addons. This is not a comprehensive list of all of 7.1’s UI API changes, just the ones we thought addon authors would be most interested in. Unit Position changes

Several unit positioning/facing/range APIs have been restricted so that they will only return valid values when the following criteria are met:

  • Unit is the active player or in the party
  • Unit is not in any kind of instance PvE or PvP.

Nameplates
In patch 7.1, addons have been restricted from acting on nameplate. Addons can still gather information, target, and customize nameplates, but can no longer use their unit tokens for spell casts. This is similar to how nameplates worked in Warlords of Draenor.

    Does the change to Venomous Wounds include the old mechanic as well or is it completely revised? Energy gen without Tea/Vendetta is already slow as fuck, if it's just when enemies die it's going to be hell for single target boss fights.

    Yeah, something is really, really fucking broken with him. He spawns like 50+ adds and it lags the fuck out of everything. Even with my 3.5ghz quad core processor and GTX 970, I was running at like 10 fps.

    Even outside of that, the whole area was just a mess of ground-based AoE zones that exploded for like 40% of your health, just being spammed everywhere all the time. What the fuck even is this world boss?

    I just stayed back as far as I could and kept myself alive, while keeping a single DoT on 'em. Got me a nice trinket.

    You get the point basically gating has been the same for most if not all the raids. Throne was bigger so of course it could be gated longer. Same with Siege. Siege was actually gated longer because they could due to it being both a large raid and having a new difficulty in the form of Flex. As for the 10.1 mil subs turns out it was a misquote so we have no idea how many are playing again now.

    How about that nameplate thing? Will it still be possible to have a hovermacro for spell and use on people's nameplates? Like if you have spell interrupt on a hovermacro so you dont have to swap target to interrupt a secondary enemy?
