I don't have details to share on the 'why' or the 'when will they be back' questions you inevitably have, but I'll update you as I can.
Thanks for your patience!
I don't have an exact answer, but I don't expect this to be a long-term downtime or anything. We hope to have a fix in an hour or so pending a disaster, but, again, I can't be 100% sure and just want to stress I don't have an official ETA.
Tokens should have just gone back up.
Thanks again for your patience everyone!

Patch 7.2.5 - Arms/Fury and Draught of Souls Changes

We’ve already tuned other forthcoming on-use trinkets that drop in Tomb of Sargeras for Arms and Fury with the same modifier to compensate for Battle Cry’s effectiveness in boosting trinkets of this kind. Our goal is for new trinkets to have more similar power levels between various specs, while leaving Draught of Souls in a place where it remains competitive for Arms and Fury.
We’re making sure to consider this trinket change as we update Warriors in Patch 7.2.5. With this in mind, Fury damage has been increased by 5% across the board. Arms is currently in the middle of receiving some heavy mechanical changes which will require a deeper look into their overall performance, and we’ll account for this change when we do our final tuning.
We don’t want Draught of Souls to define DPS Warriors for the remainder of the expansion, but we do want Warriors who have one to be able to make good use of it as they progress through Tomb of Sargeras.
Thank you for all of your feedback!

That nerf is not a surprise, now we will be able to toss away that trinket to take those of Tomb of Sargeras instead, we will not have to farm endessly a trinket from a lower tier in hope to have a almost impossible titanforged.
To those who complain about "how much this trinket is overpowered", first of all, it is not, it simply benefit from all our dps cooldown, without them, it is not more powerfull than for another class. And second, this trinket is the only thing witch allow the fury warrior to be on the bottom, without it, we would merely be in the middle; and even with it, we are far from being first: frost mage and affliction demo are WAAAAY more overpowered, especialy with their wispers in the dark trinket, witch is, this time really, overpowered.
We always knew it was "overpowered" for fury. So did the devs.
The problem was they knew this and had cba issues so rather than re-tune earlier, say in the ptr maybe, they just left it.
It seemed fury's all round output was designed around this trinket. Is 5% flat damage buff enough to cover it though?
They couldn't nerf it while progression was still ongoing, especially since there is unfortunately quite a bit of truth in people saying "Warriors would be horrible without it". That wasn't the case for Paladins for example, that's why the devs were able to react quicker.
BTW, there are already sims out there that confirm that the 5% buff is actually worth more than the trinket nerf.

This made me chuckle, though, and think of the famous:
"Nerf stone, paper's fine.
Sincerely,

Over 100 new items - and yet I only get duplicated since weeks.
I really wished the western world organizations would force Blizzard to also give up the percentage chance to win skins etc from the boxes.
Now you just need to nerf Arcano and Whispers (I have an 890 Arcano and 925 whispers for my off spec...) and no-one will need to go farm NH mythic for ToS progression.

A bit "useless" if they increase the itm lvl cap like they did for EN, BTI 915 ndr, people will still try to "fish" item (beside AP and Orangez)

They just need to reduce the value of the proc, my whispers gives me 53% cast speed which is just disgusting. Making it so NH can't proc more than 925 and EN can't proc more than 900 would be a start (though it's too late), but they're going to HAVE to nerf Whispers, CoF and BTI currently because they're outright better than ToS shite.

Ye you need to put an asintotic limit to itm lvl proc and trinket power
A 915 en trinket like bti can't be really better than a 900 or 920 from NH o Tos or any next raid, it just devalue the loot progression.
You can at least limit them after a precise item lvl and then but a similar trinket in the next raid just to block the retro farming.
Hunter, Trinket from Ursoc. Still BIS even if you have only NH/HC version. If you get your hands on the mythic one, your good for rest of expansion so far.... and thats one Tier lower then Nighthold.
I feel bad for Fury warriors, but IMO DoS was way too OP for Warriors. I just don't understand why it gets nerfed now, and not months ago when they first nerfed CoS procs. Anyone done with the content (cleaned NH MM) are fine, but people in progression now will feel the nerf big time. It kinda sucks.
Regarding DoS: What about Rogues then? Paired with the legendary shoulders (100% crit for 6s after stealth ends), it would be the same affect as battle cry, or not?
I love how people say that the 5% buff in "compensation" isn't enough. I don't remember Unholy getting a flat all-around buff ONLY because they made DoS less effective for them. A class built around increased shadow damage! God forbid a SHADOW DAMAGE dealing trinket make good use of that! (Not to mention that Unholy wouldn't have been as strong as Fury got to be, even without that nerf.)

To add, I am surprised anyone would consider a single trinket to account for more than 5% DPS and think that's OK.
God forbid Warriors competing for the top of the list. Can't have that, nerf em!
Arms is going through mechnical changes and fury is getting flat buffed, that trinket was doing top of the meters dmg. It was TOO much of a dps increase for one item.
