In 7.3 we'll indeed, as Duvetlord noticed from Twitter, be switching over to a fixed rotation for the world bosses. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Druid (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator / Artifact Calculator / PvP Talent Calculator)
Tier 21 Resto Druid Set Bonus
There will be some logic attached to the Restoration Druid 4-piece set bonus for it to prioritize anyone except the Druid while Ysera's Gift is healing much more frequently. If only the Druid is injured, it should still heal the Druid. This change should be in a future PTR build.

I'm unsure if the build that went up today has this change or not, but I recently changed the 4-piece bonus to be a 100% chance on Wild Growth to grant 5 seconds of the Awakened buff (instead of 50% chance for 10 seconds).

If that is not in the build that went up today, it should be in the next build.

Just a bug, will be fixed in the next PTR cycle.

The HoT from the 2p was incorrectly not able to crit and was not benefitting from haste.

The 2p HoT also now benefits from your mastery just like any other HoT.

Both of these changes should be in the next PTR build. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Monk (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator / Artifact Calculator / PvP Talent Calculator)
Mistweaver Tier 21 Bonus
I just fixed the 2 piece HoT to correctly be able to critical strike.

The 4-piece bonus does not use a deck of cards, it is just a flat percentage proc rate.

A few notes:

- The HoT from the 2p bonus was not benefitting from haste, that will be fixed in the next PTR build. I also doubled the healing of this HoT.
- The 4p healing/proc rate was just low. I bumped the heal up from .25 to 0.5, and the proc rate from 15 to 50%.

Numbers are not final. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

I will remove Smite from the set bonus for simplicity sake. The next PTR build should have that change. (Official Forums)

I am investigating the issues with the Arms 4p and Fury 2p. I corrected the tooltip for the Fury 4p bonus. Thanks for the reports.

I believe all of the problems listed in this thread will be fixed in the next PTR build. Thanks again for reporting the problems.(Official Forums)

Raid Testing Schedule - July 28-31

Friday, July 28th

Garothi Worldbreaker - Heroic Antorus, the Burning Throne
13:00 PDT (16:00 EDT, 22:00 CEST)

Felhounds of Sargeras - Heroic Antorus, the Burning Throne
14:00 PDT (17:00 EDT, 23:00 CEST)

War Council - Heroic Antorus, the Burning Throne
15:00 PDT (18:00 EDT, 0:00 CEST)

Once Heroic testing has concluded, these three bosses will remain open on Normal mode over the weekend.

As always, this testing schedule is very fluid and subject to the realities of a PTR environment. We might have to change the time of a testing session, change the bosses being tested, or cancel a test entirely, due to bugs, server hardware issues, etc. Keep an eye on this forum for the latest information, and thank you in advance for testing and providing feedback.

Q: How do I get into the raid zone?

A: In Dalaran, Orgrimmar, or Stormwind, you may speak to Nexus-Lord Donjon Rade Sr. in order to teleport into the raid zone while it is open for testing. (The option to teleport into a zone will not be available when the zone is not open for testing.)

Q: What character should I use to test the raid?

A: Whichever you prefer. We will be scaling players' effective level to 110 for raid testing, and their item level to an appropriate threshold for the encounter(s) being tested.

Q: How long does testing last?

A: The primary purpose of testing is to give us the information we need to balance the encounters, evaluate how mechanics are playing out in practice, and identify bugs. Once we're satisfied that we've received that information for a given boss, we'll be shutting down testing. Usually this takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, but there are no guarantees.

Overwatch - Reporting & Penalty System Improvements

This not only applies to the new content we develop and the balance changes we make, but also to the features we add or improve upon over time.

We believe that our in-game reporting and player penalty system is one of our most important features, and it’s something we want to invest in significantly over the next year. To this end, effective immediately, we will be issuing increased penalties to players in response to verified reports of bad behavior. In Overwatch, that means anything from abusive chat, harassment, in-game spam, match inactivity (being intentionally AFK), and griefing. If you see someone engaging in any of these types of behaviors, report them. Players in violation will be silenced, suspended, or even banned from the game as a result.

We know that making Overwatch a truly welcoming environment is an ongoing process, and this is only the first step. Over the next several months, we have plans to make additional improvements based on your feedback, including scaling competitive season bans, a notification system that will alert you when a player you’ve reported is actioned, and functionality that will allow us to more aggressively penalize players who attempt to abuse the in-game reporting tool.

We also remain committed to bringing a reporting system to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As console players ourselves, we know it’s been frustrating to not have this functionality on your platform. We are actively working on the feature and have many elements of undergoing internal testing right now. Our goal is to implement similar reporting options as are currently available on PC, and any improvements made to PC between now and when it’s available.

Thank you for your vigilance, passion, and commitment to building a welcoming and enjoyable community and helping us make Overwatch the best game it can be.

In this case simply take out the active boss from the equation and make the next week new "random" boss from the remaining list..then rinse and repeat until 0 left, then reset (ofc the last won`t be truly random...as only 1 left)

The point that you are ignoring is that the randomness in itself is not broken, which is all that anyone has been arguing. If its random, getting the same one in a row a few different times is perfectly normal. Its not "broken", it was just designed this way. Now they are changing the design.

Your claim that the "random number generator" is broken beyond repair is just nonsense.

Not that it really matters, those worldbosses are largely irrelevant, and for the few cases where there is actually something useful on them like J'im, the "randomness" actually played to the players favor.

That is exactly why they are changing it from random to fixed rotation... because random being random can lead to weeks upon weeks with the same boss(es). Right now we could in theory get nothing but Jim until the patch arrives, and your fix is essentially just the list with a "random" twist on it. I remember... i think it was shaman complaining because their secret artifact appearance which was tied to a boss hadn't spawned in MONTHS! The list fixes this problem

Oh no I will end up falling for those doomsayers again... last time I just gave up fighting and went back to my garrison to chill on dreanor. "just let them win" I thought - but somehow some class leaders do some epic shit and even without me doing anything they win.

No computers are not random, but they can produce true random numbers. All you have to do is hook in a device to the computer that for example uses atmospheric noise or radioactive decay as a source for true random.

Blizzard's servers won't be doing it, but guess what? It does not matter. For a videogame it does not make any difference whatsoever if you use a seeded psuedo-random number or a true random number. The pseudo-random number is still random enough, even if it's theoretically predictable. This has become even more the point since the introduction of RdRand.

The only case where the difference between nowadays pseudo-random and true random matters is cases of really high value information that have to be encrypted, and even then there's methodical software implementations that can mostly solve that.

So please stop digging up this dead horse and beating on it.
You ran and looked this up on Wikipedia didn't you?

Its not a dead horse. I'm sorry if the truth triggers you so badly. I guess letting people spread misinformation around is the cool thing now a days. Carry on....

World Quest system = Diablo 3 adventure mode
Mythic Keystones = Diablo 3 Rifts
Legendary system = Diablo 3 legendary system
Artifact Talents = Diablo 3 paragon system
    Demon theme = Diablo 3

    +little things like:
Paladin Divine Steed spell = Diablo 3 Templar same mobility spell
WoW treasure hoarder demons = Diablo treasure hoarder demons.
    etc etc

Almost everything new in this expansion is straight out of Diablo 3, even down to some class abilities. Im surprised the endboss in Argus raid is not Diablo himself. I like Reaper of Souls, so no problem, and there is not much left to copy anyways.

Very true. This is pretty much a mix of 'classic' WoW and World of Diablo.

i agree on your first 3 points. but the rest. no. the only thing artifact system and paragon system has in common is that niether virutally has no limit.

that everything in this expansion is straight out of diablo is the stupidiest thing i have heard so far. oh blizzard made a nod to its other franchiese by making ONE MOB look like a diablo mob, so wow is litterly a diablo game now.

i'm and avid diablo 3 player. the only real similiarites i have noticed is the legendary system and mythic+ system anything else is people grapsing for straws to furter thier point.

But it isn't broken....it's random. What happens every week is random because it's random. They're not fixing the randomness because the randomness isn't broken. This is what /everyone/ has been telling you. It's not a hard concept dude, all this is doing is making you look even more clueless. Roll a couple of 6 sided dice and you might find it takes some time for some numbers to come up. There we go, random, not that the dice are broken.

I mean I don't like it either but it isn't broken and they're not fixing it because nothing is broken. It is doing its intended purpose: be random. They're changing it because it's stupid to have it be random.
