Just another useless post with an idea that'll never see the light of day....

With current content so incredibly farm-able, my guild's raiding schedule effectively cut in half, down to two days a week. I often find myself wanting some sort of incentive (other than going back to grind old content for quests or rep...)

I just wish there were something else to do other than Disenchant items and sell the mats on the AH or wait for tuesday resets to roll around.

Think about it.
It'd be sort of cool if there were some sort of epic questline, steeped in lore, time consuming and monetarily sumptuous that gave you nothing more than a title (albeit, a rare, bad-ass title).

I often find myself daydreaming about being:
Forest Lord <druid>
or
Stormcaller <shaman>
,
Redeemer <paladin>

Call it QQ, but when I get off work at 11 at night, too awake to sleep, I just feel like farming for something significant.

Okay okay...seriously thought it could be a cool idea. I've never followed lore at all so I don't have any lore-related ideas whatsoever, but it could be a fun idea.

I really wish titles weren't so easy to get though. In BC Champion of the Naaru/Hand of Adal were relatively rare (go ahead..flame...but you have to admit, you didnt see it on everybody walking around).

The choice of titles is nice but I've got 9 or 10 to choose from now and the only one I like is Undying. You don't see that too often. Working on Immortal now...no luck

1) Too much work which could be spent on other aspects of the game

2) It would have to be balanced for the casuals to get so the hardcore title earners would QQ about the difficulty.

3) Titles are overrated.

4) More QQ about "Why is their class quest easier than ours! F@rk Blizz and their ret@rded designers."

5) More QQ about "We should also get class specific item quests since you made class specific titles anyway!"

There were class specific titles for realm first lvl 80s in beta. Taken out, pretty sure so people didn't end up killing themselves by not leaving their computer till they went from 70-80.

I don't remember all of them, but here's the few I do remember:

Druid: Arch Druid ####
Rogue: Assassin ####
Warlock: #### the Malefic

I'm not 100% sure of these, but I think they're at least close as to what was intended:
