China got Burning Crusade yesterday, and guess what, they've got a level 70 already.

It seems that SilverDragon, of the GreenBase guild started leveling at 11:20 am September 6 and reached the maximum level 70 at 10:48 am September 7 (23 hours and 28 minutes), beating the previous record of about 28 hours from Millenium. You can find more screenshots on 17173.com

This guy didn't even need his guild as a raid group powerleveling him.

Don't go too far with comments about chinese players ^^ (Just warning before it goes out of control, not thinking about anyone in particular)

What I thought was cool was that he already has his epic flying mount. While I'm sitting here 70 for 4 months, and I'm still 1k gold away :|.

What? It isn't inconcievable that a guy could stay at his computer for under 24 hours.

Guy must've had Astronaut diapers and an IV of Mountain Dew.

I realize that its an accomplishment to level that insanely fast... but what's the point beyond that?  He blew through the entire story.  He has to wait for others to level to do anything now.  And now that he has his epic flying mount... I guess now he just has to rep grind and grind kara.  Woo, that sounds like fun.

Don't see why people are so upset about this, I'd rather spend 24 hours in one sitting and get to 70, instead of spending countless hours crawling my way forward. Besides, I wouldn't be surprised if he rolls a blood elf paladin or something like that, like the mage from Millenium did.

One thing I'm curious about though, what happened to the anti-addiction debuff that the Chinese servers are required to have? I thought that would put an end to anything like this.

Gief screenshot/link to forum/whatever to prove that debuff to me! Cheesy
No screenshot, it was accidently put into the EU/US PTR clients at around 1.10/1.11. Blue confirmed that it was a mistake and that it was only intended for the chinese client.

he's probably one of them farmers that powerlvls characters to 70 for a living...having done every tbc quests 100's of times, knowing every quest mob & location blindfolded
.. or else he got a raid to help him kill stuff he pulled, and then went non-stop pulling, pretyt much giving loads of XP every odd second.

Yeah, and I assume a great part of his guildmates also grinded 70 on a PTR / non-chinese server, making then know the zones very well, what the Millenium guy couldn't get.

Even if I disaprove that kind of grinding, great job to our friend & Green base guild !

it has been 8 months since the release of burning crusade, wouldn't surprise he already know most if not all the content. consider their past leveling rate, this is totally acceptable.
