Probably last update from the day : Just to make it clear, the mad alchemist debuff is from a mail I got, I know that it's a debuff from the firefly in Zangarmarsh and that Drysc said it would be a "random elixir buff", but I also checked the game files and I can't find any new spell related to this. For the time being, we'll have to live with this theory. ^^

Update : Screenshots of the Zul'aman sets have been updated.
Update : Screenshot of the Sporeggar Exalted pet added.
Also it seems that one of the paladin change already listed in the updated patch notes has been modified slightly, the threat reduction on Fanaticism no longer works when Righteous Fury is active.

Update : Ritual of Refreshment now requires 2 [item=17020]
The 4-piece bonus of Gladiator's set now reduces the cooldown of the Blink spell by 2 seconds instead of reducing the cast time of Polymorph by 0.15 second.
[Vengeful Gladiator's Battle Staff] and [Vengeful Gladiator's Shield Wall] have been added.

Update : There are now a crew and vendors in Zeppelins and Boats.

Update : Added a Season 1 Honor Price screenshot for weapons, might be easier to read than the chart on the 2.3 compilation post.
Update : S3 Honor is on PTR (Not on all realms), the Rings / Amulets list posted last week was complete.
Update : [Vengeful Gladiator's Rifle] [Vengeful Gladiator's Longbow] are now available for 3750 Arena Points.

New PTR Build
Mega major uber change
  • Most of the changes from the updated patch notes are now online. (At least they're in the PTR patch.txt now)
  • Hunter's ranged attacks min range is now 1 yard.

The PTRs realms have been updated from 2.3.7441 to 2.3.7468, it's only the beginning of the day It seems that most of the changes from the updated patch notes are now online.

A dragon kite model has been added to the game files. They also added two icons for the paper zeppelin and gyrocopter

Blue posts
I'm still doing short lists of blue posts because nobody complained about it, if you're missing the good old copy pastes of all posts, let me know.

Quote from Blizzard staff
Raids & Dungeons
  • In 2.3, Badges of Justice drop from Zul'aman and Karazhan bosses (1-2 per bosses). You also get 2 badges from the heroic daily quest. (Source)
  • Nether Vortexes won't drop from Zul'aman bosses, and no changes will be made to make them drop in the Black Temple or Hyjal summit. (Source)
PvP
  • Alterac Valley changes are being watched very closely on 2.3 PTRs, they will go live, but might be tweaked before. (Source)
Professions
  • The Mad Alchemist's Potions "side effect" is actually a random buff from other elixirs. However it won't replace existing elixir buffs if you have one on. (Source)
Items
  • Old versions of classic dungeons items will automatically be upgraded with the 2.3. (Source)
Interface
  • In 2.3 you will be able to check other people's talents by inspecting them. (Source)
Others
  • Blizzard is in the process of implementing alternate solutions to help assist the lower population realms. (Source)

Zul'aman sets
O2Dazone posted nice previews (much better than mine) of the sets from Zul'aman on the forums, thanks to him.

Will the extra buff overwrite your existing battle/defence elixirs or will it be an extra one?

My gut reaction is that this is a change to the NEW aimed shot and not an overall change.... but we shall see *speeds off to the ptr*

Edit: well, all shots a 1-35 now, now I switch to, this is just temporary, it will never last.  If it does go live I'll be very disappointed.  I could literally just start strafing away from a mob no wingclip or anything and shoot them as soon as I gained the slightest amount of ground, as the 1-35yd range would suggest.  Lame.

UPDATE: I have now done rather extensive testing, including using range mods.  Shots are available as close as 4 yards, cutoff melee range is 5 yards.  That means hunters CAN shoot from melee range (the 1-yard overlap)  HOWEVER the tooltip is still incorrect as you cannot shoot from 1, 2, or 3 yards.  Check out the forum thread if you don't believe me Smiley

I did a quick test of the hunter range on the PTR.  You CANNOT shoot from melee range, nor can you melee from shot range.  Link to the thread is:

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=2512089705&sid=1&pageNo=1

It is possible that Aimed Shot is 1-x yards, I am going to go respec now and try that.

EDIT: There appears to be an overlap between 4 and 5 yards.  Five yards is the current end of melee range, yet shots are usable as close as 4.  The tooltip is still inaccurate, however, but it remains to be seen if this 1 yard overlap is intended.  Also, I tested Aimed Shot, it is not usable any closer than any other shot ability.

Just went on the zeppelin to check out what those machines excactly sell:

Snack-O-Matic: All kinds of food and drinks
Vendo-O-Tron Deluxe: Reagents, bullets/arrows proffesion items etc.

The boats now (atleast the Booty Bay - Ratchet one) have an engineer who repairs and sells reagents
and also have a vendor who sells food/drinks

A couple of things I'd like to post if you'd like to update the post, unless I haven't been up to date on changes for mages, Ritual of Refreshment now requires only 2 arcane powder to cast instead of a rune of portals.

The new bonus for 4 pieces of mage PVP gear (.15 Seconds off poly) has been replaced with the old bonus of 2 seconds off blink. The glove bonus remains the same

And they have also added a new staff in that has hit instead of penetration on it.

So from the looks of it, Og'rila potions are better than regular potions? And can they be used outside of Blade's Edge now? It doesn't specify it in the tooltip anymore, and how many apexis crystals do they cost?
50 shards. Yes, usable outside BEM.

50 apexis, and no they are not better

EDIT: FUcking blizzard, fucking morons. They made them equal to Major potion... GG another /slap in da face of alchemist. Why buy potions when you can buy them with shards now.
