Wrath of the Lich King - Mounts Update
Today we've got a huge update of the mounts added in the expansion. We'll probably have a nice article on how to get them "soon". (1 day to 1 year, depending on motivation) Some of them might be reposts because I don't keep track of everything, also note that a few mounts like the Twilight Drake (Drop from The Obsidian Sanctum 25 - Hard Mode) had their model updated since the last news.

Proto Drakes look awesome! My rogue demands a black one! 

So many mounts to choose from, I just can't decide which one to use.

Actually, I just have a really quick question.  While watching all the updates regarding mounts, drakes, proto-drakes, I noticed a few that were mentioned early on, but never re-mentioned when their names went from gem-oriented names (IE: Ruby Drake, Amber Drake, etc) to simple color based names (IE: Red Drake, Bronze Drake).

Were the drakes, listed below, discontinued/scrapped, or are they still in the works for being implemented in the expansion?

Were they just place holders, nixed, or are still in there and just not mentioned?

OH MY GOD THE PROTO DRAKES ARE INSANE

Currently, the protodrakes are rewards for certain achievements, usually raiding or doing 5-mans, but one of them (purple I think) is a reward for doing all of the Holiday achievements.  Some of the mammoths and bears are just purchasable from a vendor in Dalaran.  Engineers can make the motorcycle, and it's BOE so everyone can use it.  Tailors make the flying carpets, and they're BOP.  The drakes so far have only been from raids.  I'm sure the 'black war mammoths' are from PVP, similar to the rest of the 'black war' mounts that you can already buy.

The 'regular' Bronze Drake mount drops from a bonus boss in Heroic: Culling of Stratholme, which also is required for some achievement apparently. If this mount is a 100% drop or not is not something I can say, but he seems to have nothing else in his loottable currently then the mount and a Badge.

Does anyone know already if the quest for the 10-man and 25-man can BOTH be completed?

ie. Save the 25-man quest for your mainspec and complete the 10-man quest for your offspec?

Would be badass and a solid way to obtain two great neckpieces.
