So it started like any typical AV... (except there was horde defending. how rare.)

near the end, we (horde) had about 30 reinforcements to their (alliance) 113. things we'rent looking good.
we got on van. it was the typical everybodys-attacking-nobodys tanking-and-if-somebody-does-tank-theres-no-healers-around-and-they-die havoc that everybody is familiar with. as van slaughtered ppl left and right, our reinforcements dropped lower and lower. like lemmings jumping off a cliff, the horde ran back into van's room, doing whatever dmg they could, keeping van (+ 1 marshal) in combat.

"DONT DIE" spammed in bg chat

Horde reinforcements stayed at 1 for about 8 seconds

..

bam. it was over. i was like CRAP! and everybody was like CRAP!...
..and then we saw the score. the bg's chat was filled with LOL LMAO ROFL HAAHAHA etc.

Don't have a screeny, but had one yesterday where (playing as Alliance) the horde were well ahead, due to a well implemented block at Galv.

So, a bunch of us lead a last ditch effort to kill Drek. Both towers were still up, but as the horde were about to start on Van, it was our only shot.

As we engaged, 3 tanks trying to hold the warmasters and Drek, so we could kill Drek, Van was engaged as well.

Frantic, "Stop attacking the warmasters, just dps Drek!" in chat and his health dropped. 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, 10% .... various, "omg, can't believe we did it!" 5%, 4%, 3%, 2% .... game ends.

Yup, Van died and the horde won, just as Drek dropped to 1% health.

Heh, I was too busy laughing to be upset, that our crazy plan nearly worked!

Hah that's great, like winning with 2000/1990 resources in AB, but this is even more to get pissed of for the enemy ^^

I've actually got the complete opposite story to tell. Ever had the Horde refuse to kill you? I was in AV last week and had the typical mediocre groups of alliance in instance blues and one or two of what people are calling wellfare epics now. No organization just everyone rush drek mentality couple stop at galv to take that and take the towers on the way. The problem was they were an all guild premade. They were using the addon that allows that to happen. They left a 10 man team to meet us at Galv and just destroy us. So scattered around people rez'ing like crazy some try to run back south but for the most part everyone is on defense. I don't think that I saw a person without Season 3 helm Season 2 shoulders. They took us down to 1 reinforcement and left us there for almost 5 minutes. I was yelling in bg chat for someone to jump off a cliff or let an npc kill them. They got almost 1,000 points for that AV because they brought us down to 1 reinforcement and took every objective possible for them to get. I mean good for them that they took the time to do that. But it was a sad day for alliance.
