Most employment decisions are made on more information than a short video.

Most employers don't have the benefit of ANY video to observe their employees. This women has likely been a bitch forever, but no one knew it. Now they do.

Now granted I've only gone through 1/3rd (7 pages) of this thread at the time. But doing a quick google search also brings this story up on ABC as published by the associated press: http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory?id=13220981

The second thing I didn't see any comment on was that the State Representative (you know, the go to guy for the people of the community) had taken an issue with Deldot about this, but DELDOT didn't respond to him. If these people can't even be bothered to respond to a state representative and go about business in their own interest, what good are they?

Another thing is at the beginning of the video. I assume people just weren't paying attention to the preamble of the event. It was not *every* pole that would have been in violation, just 8 specific poles. This was a targeted removal. If they pulled every pole down these streets that were in violation I could see their point of view a little better. The law must be applied to ALL of them and must ALL be removed then. If not, these specific people were horribly wronged.

By all indications there's a lot more to this than just what's in the video and people are taking NONE of that into consideration.

I don't think that people shoot fish out of the water. If the 2nd amendment was meant for that... and not to mention the majority of hunters do it for sport and not for survival. I'm sure it's a great pass time, but is it really necessary? There are other ways to get food, I'm sure.[COLOR="red"]

Hehe some lady in my neighborhood complained that the owner wasn't maintaining the lke that was put in 60+ years ago and this is in township in the country, so she got the county to tear down the dam holding the water in and now we have a boggy weed and cricket filled hole in the ground.
moral of the story. People are douches and compromise is the only way to deal with these people, and before you flame, killing them won't solve anything because how can you kill that which has no life at all
also anti second amedment people, the countrside has real uses for gunsbesides killing people, I'm not talking pistols like 75% of gun cries but actual riffles and shotguns hunting controls populations and there are the occasional need for them out in the midde of nowhere

I'll jump straight to 9. I'm a Liberal, I don't own a Gun, and I understand why we need to easy up on gun control a bit. guns in crime are not obtained legally.

if I was to drive down town I could get for the right price any Russian or Chinese military weapon system short of Nuclear. this is not a theory this is a fact.

But if I wanted to buy a M-16a1 and make a display for my time in service I have to jump though a lot of hoops, spend a ton on liscences and the M16- has to have a Metal bar welded in its barrel. But I can buy a AKM any day of the week.

He has a point and i agree, but I still stand by my statement that FDR was not the worst president, he did alot more good than bad. People accuse him of internment camps but fail to realize that was congresses suggestion and "request" to ensure that the public felt safe and to ensure spies weren't running amok (and you cannot deny there were spies in the US, the Nazi's were keeping a close eye on the US's interactions with the allies before they joined). Roosevelt didnt specifically want to do it himself but felt compelled to to insure the safety of other American citizens, even if it impeded on the rights of a few (sounds very similar to another president who suspended certain liberties of citizens after 9/11, only difference was he couldnt put anyone in internment because it became unconstitutional.)

Now, i dont beleive that FDR did not do some wrong, he was human afterall, but by trying to tarnish his name by deliberately calling him out on his cons does not show the true value of a man until you compare his good deeds to his bad. And to the majority of the American populace, he saved us from the depression and helped us unite to win WWII, and that is enough to respect him for.
