    PSU - Corsair 80+ Gold Modular 850w
GPU - Dual Radeon 5970's in Crossfire
Case - Trusty ol' HAF 922
    Mobo - ASUS Rampage III
    RAM - 4 x 4GB G.Skill Ripjaws
    SSD - Transcend 32GB
    Hard Drive - 2 Samsung F3 1TB in RAID 0 for 2TB
    Optical Drive - LITE-ON Black 24X SATA
Cooling - Corsair H50 Water Cooling
    1. I'm really liking that dual channel RAM on a 980x (LGA 1366 socket), and 16GB is kinda pointless. Lol @ regular Ripjaws at stock timings and clocks too.
    2. HAF 922 for that setup...really? Woulda gone HAF X
    3. You need WAY more than a 850 watts PSU to power that whole rig.
    4. H50 cooling for this is...well...can you even get to 4.3 with it? If I had dual-5970, I'd use liquid cooling to cool em as well.

If you want to troll, at least do more research XD. You're just making me laugh right now...

    1. x58 doesn't require triple channel
    2. cases are personal choice
    3. you don't need more then 800 watts for that setup
    4. a 980x can reach 5ghz with the stock cooler provided, while an H50 isn't "real" liquid cooling, it's better then stock

    O.o

  6. #626
Yes and no. You can run it like that, but you also have to be careful with voltages if you're only going to be running dual-channel.

Besides if you can afford a $1000 CPU, a $300-$600 MOBO, $1400-$2000 worth of GPU, a $200 PSU, $240-440 worth of Hard Drive/ SSD and a $80 CPU Cooler then you might as well spend the extra $80 and get the extra sticks of RAM...

That build costs AT LEAST $3500 (assuming the lowest end in the price ranges). If the person has that kind of cash, they'd do it right.

    Person is trolling.

I'll upload this one for now as it's 03:33 and pretty much impossible to get a decent picture.

I'm aware that the image on the right screen is incorrectly displayed, not sure what happened but it's fixed now.
Only thing that's changed since the pic is I have moved my xbox between the monitors.

nb: if anyone knows of a mouse the size of the Razer Abyssus(Length - 116mm, Width - 60mm, Height - 36mm) with two side buttons on the right side only(yes i'm a lefty) I would appreciate it so much.

I do not have guests that stay over night often. If I do, its my girlfriends kids or my little brother. So nothing for me to worry about.

Yep, that's the mouse you can see in the screenshot, however it just feels too long, I prefer a small mouse I can get my hand around(Abyssus is hidden behind the left monitor, you can see it on the left picture) I used to swap them out, deathadder when pvping and abyssus for everything else pc related, but it got too tedious.
Just as a reference, I took a pic of them side by side - http://zhost.tk/u/py/size.png

This was my first self built set up, and to be honest some parts I bought purely for aesthetic value and thus probably paid more than I should have. All things considered it was pretty easy to build, and I was extremely satisfied with the e-tailer I shopped with. I'm researching how to overclock now; hopefully I won't wreck anything in the process.

I guess they'll come after I've posted a few more times
