I was all bummed when I first saw the petition locked, but then I saw stickies. =D Let's hope they last.

One serious question though, which I would have asked in the rules thread if it wasn't locked. Will the state of the class threads be closed with each patch and a new one created? (Meaning, for 4.2 and on, would the 4.1 be locked and 4.2 be the new one?) I'm unsure on that because I've only been on these forums since 4.1.

In regards to your question, yes that's how we do it. Roughly halfway through the PTR testing... though I did go before "half" on the 4.1, because I jumped the gun. Either way, there was enough changes to justify it. While I can't really gauge 4.2's "duration" being it's not very much a balance patch, I might even wait until it goes live to bring the new threads over, but we'll see.

And I liked the way things were, too. These boards are home to us priesties, we might as well make them something to love.

If I don't have something to love, I don't like being here. And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that was coming here out of habit, not out of enjoyment. Well, there is one last thing to do...

Banning people who sign a sticky is poor form. Locking the sticky and branding/banning the trouble makers sends a better precedent. But I generally agreed, and I'm glad someone had the guts to stick it to the man... or something. But "Kes"? o.O
