You have to have the said items on your person.

I walk in and want my head piece to look like T6. I have to have the T6 helm on me to do this. Thus meaning I'd need to go out and do the instance to get the piece of gear I desire~.

I love wrathful. It's probably close to being my favorite paladin set in the game. The flashy silver is very...out there.

T2/T8 follows closely behind. And Season 10 PVP gear.

Wonder if they'll be changing some of the old raids to make them easier to solo or even get into for this? Lord knows I'd love a chance to get past the first boss in BWL without having to do his stupid mind-control.

Although this presumption is based on you needing said gear available, which actually looks a bit up in the air now. Although I may actually start collecting tabards if I now have a place to store them.

I think they're aiming for people to be social in regards to collecting past gear. If they make it so easy as to 'solo' it, why not just put it for JP on vendors? :>

( Plus some people like the encounters how they are. I am looking at you, twinking guilds. )

I hope they push for us to not be lazy and make us have the gear on hand. I don't want to see people waltzing around with T3 n' C. Ashbringers when they're a month old 85.

Oh I imagine they will have some sort of grind attached, whether it be gold, points or even having to run the older raids again.

It's just that I think even with this many of the old raids aren't going to be all that accessible and beyond that you'll get the fun thing of "BWL! No druids!" and such and people who continuously underestimate how hard some of the old content can be - especially in regards to troublesome fight mechanics. Such as Razergore, Chromaggus, Twin Emperors, C'Thun and so on.

Is it possible for say a shaman or paladin to turn their t12 healing shield into the bulwark of azinoth for instance? Or does the shield have to also be a healing shield.

As it looks right now...

Shield = Shield

A shield's stats do not matter. However the type of armor/weapon does. Thus you cannot have a one handed mace turning into a shield. Or a staff turning into a polearm. Make sense?

this + shdowmourne souls effects when they will (and I hope on release) allow legendaries. there is really no point putting a gate system on this kind of additions, it kills the fun.
T6 shininess and shadowmourne darkness together is epic.

can you get WoW model viewer to show shadowmourne's effect?


Also I hope they can put weapons from MONSTERS in game too, it would open new models, that are so awesome and never looked at.

Either full relentless, full wrathful or a mix of tier 8.5 and tier 7. I wish I'd gotten a cool weapon model though like Betrayer of Humanity, Cataclysm's Edge or Jin'rohk.
