    The Music of Star Wars

AWESOME! Music! I think music is real important to a game

Heres a collection of TOR releases that involve music, the later is a gamespot exclusive.

STAR WARS™: The Old Republic™ - Music of The Old Republic
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrziiQcJwjs

Composing the Music of Star Wars: The Old Republic (Gamespot)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GK0Nn7SW8kI

TOR is shipping with 5.5 hrs of original music + KOTOR music + original John Williams sountracks.

ps - I wanted to consolidate music topics so .. well for obvious reasons. They were spread out in this forum.
For looking at the graphics - the videos are a year or more old ..this is more about the music.

Haha, it's funny to hear that amazing/epic choral music being sung by chubby middle aged people in normal clothes. A lot different from how I usually imagine it
Why am I back here, I don't even play these games anymore

The problem with the internet is parallel to its greatest achievement: it has given the little man an outlet where he can be heard. Most of the time however, the little man is a little man because he is not worth hearing.

Skinny old folks have voices difference from those chubby and somewhat younger?

Carol Channing sang well into her 80's, even 90's

I saw her live in Hello Dolly in the 1990's and dang she sang. She was 75.

Meatloaf also sang in plain clothes, unless in a major concert Meatloaf rocked the house.

I know, I'm not saying that normal people don't sing this, but it's not what you usually imagine when you hear that epic music in a movie/video game.

Star Wars music tends to be nothing too special...aside from the leitmotifs that everyone recognizes and loves.

It's good to see that they are taking the music seriously, since it's so iconic to this franchise. It also can really help immersion into a story.

Yup I love the sounds... if nothing else I watch the videos about how the music was made and I just want this game.

I'm kinda partial to games or movies with good soundtracks.

I do love when a game has a good soundtrack, being a band geek (F-Horn/Mellophone/Flugelhorn ftw!) and all-around music lover myself. WoW has good music; I always set my sound options to loop music when just playing by myself. I look forward to the epic music in TOR, cuz I know Bioware always does music right, and add to that the epic music of Star Wars in general and you've got a winner.

This makes me even happier to have gotten the CE of the game, can't wait to get my hands on that soundtrack.

I've always loved Star Wars music, I just hope the force theme is included in the game some how, by far my favorite

I've always loved the music in Star Wars. I hope The Imperial March is in the game.
