The ultimate battle! Left handed VS Right handed

So which hand is your dominant? Left? Right?
Some statistic says (well my math book) 11% is left handed so.... Let's find out!

  2. #2
I feel bad for left-handed people. They're in actual danger just because of it.

i'm actually ambidextrous, but my actual natural dominant hand is my left hand. It was a little difficult growing up, having to use right handed scissors and such...but i still wouldn't change it, it's nice being a little different.

I tried to teach myself to be ambidextrious when I was younger, but my left hand is only good for using a lighter and driving

There is no battle, right-handed people are clearly genetically superior beings.
Also, we are better in bed.

I am left handed in everything, and the only thing i ever had an issue with was, like a poster above said with scissors. Those damn right handers just dont work.

Ambidextrous option? I do whatever with whichever hand is more convenient. I write with either, use a knife to chop food with either. When I used to play baseball I threw with my right hand (probably because I had a hand-me-down glove), but batted left handed. I guess I use the computer right handed as most gaming mice are formed that way...

Whats the poll point? Its a well known fact that there is a much larger % of human population right handed, so its kinda of a waste of a poll the way its setup, we already know whos gona win.

The human population, yes. We are talking about a SAMPLE of humans.

    left handed.

its widely known that left people like Albert Einstein, Da-vinci, and most presidents in the US are often more successful.

And why would this sample be any different than any other?

I'm left handed, but moderately ambidextrous likely due to using a mouse with my right hand since I was old enough to use a computer. It generally does not affect my quality of life, my biggest issue is with writing on paper, I have the same issue that da Vinci did, my hand smudges everything that I write down. Except I never learned to write backwards.

    LEFTIES UNITE!

Except I can't brush my teeth with my left hand...

Such an arrogant opinion. That's not widely known at all, and I doubt there is little (if any) evidence to support your theory.

What's more likely, is that when somebody is extremely successful, famous, intelligent, etc., a fact such as being left-handed becomes something widely known about that person. So you think "Hey, da Vinci was left handed, and a genius, that must mean that more lefties are geniuses than righties!". No, it just means that nobody cares that a right-handed genius is right handed, because that's the norm.

Why on earth would spreading butter or cutting bread by affected by your handedness? Knives aren't handed, are they? Bread surely isn't.

Actually, some brands of pocket knives (talking big ones too) have it so only one side of the knife has the opening mechanism.

Sure enough, but I imagine he was referring to your common kitchen or butter knife, which shouldn't at all be affected by which hand you use.
