Time to upgrade the computer

So im getting to that point where stuff is taking a while to load and im getting FPS lag during some fights in 25m raids. Also if i try to fraps my fps drops to 1 lol.

I currently have :

CPU - E8400 OC'ed to 4.0Gb - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115037
Mobo - MSI p35 Platinum - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130141
VGU - GTX460 (1GB version) - Its the actual Nvidia version, i will be keeping this since it is newer
Ram - 4gb Corsair - cant remember what DDR, its been that long lol
PSU - OCZ 750w - dont remember the model, its one of their modular ones (keeping this also)

I am looking to upgrade to the following, and will wonder how much of a difference i will see...
theres a microcenter near where i work so i will take advantage of their in-store deals

Looks good man. You should notice a dramatic difference in 25 man raids.

Just look at the CPU alone http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/56?vs=288. The i5 2500K on average is a 100% better than the Core 2 Duo E8400. Mind it doesn't factor the OC but shit you OC the i5 2500K and it will eat the E8400 for breakfast.

As for FRAPS mate you need to record to a secondary drive, can't be playing and recording on the same drive or you will always see a dramatic decrease in FPS.

yep with SSDs getting close to $1/GB should be able to grab a 240gb for around $300 and get a 2tb or 1TB cav black for recording for under $100

yea i had used fraps back during bc and never had a prob. then i got it again and tried during wrath and it was horrible so i figured my comp was just getting outdated.
