    Cool mechanics compendium

    I still wonder wich class will feel the coolest for me.
    In WoW it was the warrior followed by hunter and rogue. The warrior gave me such an amazing experience because i loved the looks, the sounds of abilities an especially the mechanics: charge ! heroic leap , throwdown, bladestorm , shockwave

    I think in wow almost every class has a cool mechanic which helps their mobility, or cuts down another classes mobility.

    I want to find out what this is in the world of SWTOR, and make a complete list of "cool mechanics"


    Sentinel/Marauder: force push ?
    Guardian/Juggernaut: Force Leap(Charge), Throw Lightsaber,

    Shadow/Assassin: stealth, deathgrip, rocket boots, aoe knockback
    Sage/Sorcerer: force push, death field, force lightning

    Gunslinger/Sniper: use cover,
    Scounderel/Operative: stealth

    Powertech/Vanguard: deathgrip, missile blast
    Commando/Mercenary: death from above (fly up and shoot), missile blast

    Sith Warriors have Force Crush, crushing every bone in their opponents body ( it just does damage and slows over time ) :P

    the powertech has a jet boost which is basically a charge, while the mercenary iirc has a knockback jet push or something.

    taunt/guard pvp mechanics for tanks are the coolest!

    It's not a mechanic per-se, more like a spec niche, but as a Scoundrel kicking someone's balls never got boring :P

    It's funny when someone jumps at you with lightsabers swirling in the air, only to kick him in the nuts and then move along. Or even better, after you kick him, get a shotgun in point blank on the back of his head and then feel the "boom" as your character pulls the trigger for a lolcrit.

    (it's a bit like WoW's Gouge/Scatter Shot and Backstab/Ambush only way more cooler)

    Trooper - Vanguard: Harpoon to grabs people, grenade launcher, sticky grenade, gets a lightning round to fire lightning from his gun....I could go on.

    How is actually a sniper supposed to survive against melee? I have yet to see a ability that lets him escape from close combat.

    In the video, there's a part where the sniper sends out a wave of energy, knocking melee attackers back.

    in the recent trooper interview, they mentioned support cell, and how it will allow your basic attack to supply a steady heal, and the basic attack is shooting with that big auto cannon, so my mind is reeling at the idea of what it could look like to heal someone with that big thing.

    I think that all light saber related moves are great. Especially the leap and throw. I really like the consular more overall, but those 2 abilities alone make me want a knight instead.

    I played ME2 recently and had a blast throwing baddies around, so I can't wait to use the force based abilities as well. Telekinesis is a long sought after ability. Go Matilda on some mofos.

    I guess you could say that I think Jedis are pretty sweet.

    They have plenty of tricks up their sleeves. This is the Bond modeled class after all.

    Marauder has force leap as well, actually a better version (shorter min. range)

    Should be mirror images. I imagine both have same abilities and specs as well.

    think the Ryu and Ken uppercut from SF and that is the Jetpack punch
