What was the cooling system that's take your temperatures below 0C called? I can't seem to find the link in this thread, I know I saw it somewhere!

3 come to mind - phase change, liquid nitrogen, and liquid helium. None of which are cheap.

I'd assume you're talking about Phase Change then... Not sure of specific brands, this may be of help though :

Think I found it actually. I've been googling and looking for about an hour now. Sub Zero seemed to be the keyword!

Looks like its using a peltier, which is known to be inefficient and dangerous, nor will it sustain sub 0 under load

Additionally, at least Sandy Bridge isn't made for sub-zero.

    WTB more pics!

Just bought a new cooler so I can fiddle with OCing my 1090T. It's kinda budget and I may have bought it for looks :P, but I'll post a pic when I get it installed. More pics I say!

Guess it's time to post some pictures.

After having gotten the new Acer S211HL 21.5" 1080p LED backlit monitor, funny how it is smaller but has a bigger res. It has a great image!

Inside, SSD taped near the ODD to the case for better cable management, going to try and find something that looks less tacky though, as I'm not pleased with how this looks at all, but it's been working fine.

New PSU my Dad got me for Christmas. <3 <3 <3 Seasonic X Series 660 watt Modular 80+ Gold

SC2 cinematic playing on my family's new Sony Bravia 240Hz LED LCD TV. It actually looked quite amazing and playing SC2 and Rift on the new TV was quite a fun experience.

What my computer looked like after I yanked out the old PSU.

All 3 of my after-market PSUs I have had now.
BFG Tech 450 Watt (not even 80+!!) was first. Then there was the Corsair TX650 Watt 80+. Then came the new Seasonic. <3

Pretty sure my imgur account is public, so if you want to see more pictures, just take a gander!

Well, I finally have my setup finished until HDDs go back down in price. I have had the comp since early October, but never got to post any pics. Here are the specs again

    Inside:
    Intel i5-2500k @4.3ghz
    CM Hyper 212+
    Asus P8Z68-V LX
    G.Skill Ripjaw X 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz RAM
    PNY OC2 560ti @900mhz
    WD Caviar Black 750GB HDD
    CM HAF 912
    Antec HCG 620W PSU
    Random DVD RW Drive

    Outside:
    Acer 23" Monitor
    Acer 20" Monitor
    Logitech G930 Wireless Headset
    Microsoft Sidewinder X4(just arrived today)
    Logitech G500 Mouse
    Wired XBox 360 Controller

Just because you guys love pics, here you go:

I know the wiring is a little messy, but I ran out of zip ties when I rewired my PC a month ago. I'll make sure to get some when I get that 2TB HDD when the prices come down. Also, sorry for the crappy quality, I had to use a 10 year old camera to do it.

When is the exact date 6xx series will be released?

  15. #5035
An exact date is out of the question as of yet, but earliest I've heard is potentially spring. >>

Wasn't Nvidia skipping the 6xx designation and going straight to 7xx or did I misread?

I keep hearing that Nvidia is going to skip 6xx and go to 7xx. You are probably right.
