Wow Cyanotical, one core at 64 Celsius, and one at 79! =S What the hell is up with that? lol

    Added.
not entirely sure, i am using the cpu-370, which doesn't have a perfectly flat surface (curved), and the 3960x physically is a big chip, so it could be that some areas dont get the same coverage and cool faster then others, also, that was still with air in the lines, temps stay at about 60-65 under load now

Intriguing overclock, but it is verified! I'll put you down for 1.4v @4.33GHz.

That damn Sandy Bridge leaderboard is so bloody big compared to the others.... lol

    Sounds like an auto clock.

Well meh. Auto-OCs aren't exactly not allowed, auto just typically doesn't handle over 4.3 too well, and especially over 4.5, that's why on these things you so rarely see purely auto-OCs.

Right now I'm running an auto-4.0GHz on my 2500K. ^_<

Oh I wasn't calling him/her out for an auto to be DQ, just stating that it looked auto because of the ridiculously high voltage.

    Could just be a crappy chip too. ;p I know what that's like, though I don't need 1.4v... >_<

I think the H100 can squeeze out 4.8GHz @ ~1.5v with a push/pull setup and I learn to use all the other voltage settings.

clocking that high with C1E and EIST enabled is harder then without, in fact i'm pretty sure i'll need to disable them to get past 5, so no picking on the throttling

<3 This is what I was referring to, I was merely jesting about the downclock, which I look past, especially in the case of Sandy Bridge, because I know how much Sandy CPUs like to downclock.

Merely because I should not have to search your SS for the OC or have to check the CPU-Z link to see what you got it clocked at. I have these rules in place for everyone, even if you've already posted previously in the thread or for my best frands, just so no abuse happens and so when I hyperlink your place in the rankings, people can see who you are, voltage, clock, cooler, all that, right there. :P

so, you want everything up front so you don't have to search through a SS, yet you go through the SS to verify? :P

note: EIST, C1E enabled, this clock was done completely from windows using AISuite, not from the BIOS

Really don't think my thermal paste is spread or real temp is being gay as soon as a core hit 90c it dropped down to 75 1sec later

Wow thanks, that's way more helpful than the OC guide on ASUS' forums.
