Is there a penalty for killing a clone? Do you get stunned or take damage? I can't remember if there was any downside to killing an enemy mesmer's clones ... (maybe traits add some penalty?)
Because if there isn't, the problem I have with Illusionary Leap (and it's counterpart) is that there is no reason not to just attack whichever one just jumped in your face. It's no longer a mind game.
Clones die so easily, you will either kill the clone before it shatters, or target and focus the player. Win-win!
I guess you could possibly force a weapon swap and maybe a CD of at least a GCD ... and that precious time might mean victory in non 1v1 settings ... so I will just have to wait and see. I like the idea of the main hand Sword abilities, but not sure how practical they are.
