BEYOND glad I found this forum and how active it is.

So it's a normal issue people are having?

My issues so far are....

Cant log into forums. (says check my information)
Cant log into client (either says unable to complete operation, or reset port password)
Then, says it can't reset my password at this time

Ah, okay. Yeah it threw me off a bit, getting so many different errors. I thought I was just boned out of playing the beta..

So I guess when the beta releases all this stuff will go back to normal? I can't get passed the log in in the client, nor in the forums. So I suppose after the beta drop we will be able to. Or hoping anyways.

And yes I'm having the same issue, they should work on their error messages.

The client is found within the forums, correct?

I know I'm a bit late to the party but I can't log in either. I think we can all relax it's them messing around and stop thinking its us having errors and all that.
This BWE is so close now, is everyone super excited or just me?

Here's another question. There's no shortcut? And I don't see the client in my program files.. Im scared to close the log in screen. =/

It's not in the program files folder because you technically don't install it, you just download it and run it. You need to run the same .exe you used to download the game, you can make a shortcut to it yourself if you want.

It will be where ever you copied it to, it has no installer.

But if you still cant find it, open task manager, go to the processes tab, right click on gw2.exe and select "open file location". You can then drag a shortcut to the desktop.

Yeah, that's it. Just assumed it was gone when it wasn't there when I started the client. Silly me.

I accidentally deleted my bootcamp partition last night, without realizing I didn't have my windows disk with me.. So Im running it on my other laptop. I hope the specs can handle it.
