With today's advancements (even though some have stopped) when do you foresee humans being able to travel across space, not at a creeping pace such as in the last space flight? I mean something faster than 1% of lightspeed. (Which we haven't even come CLOSE to).

Human technology basically doubles every couple of months, also with the future in quantum computers and experiments with the collider in Geneva I would say not in our life time, but maybe a few hundred years we will see some development within it, although light speed is not what we want, we need to find ways around space.

Agreed. I doubt there is even a source of energy available on Earth at the moment that could fuel a spaceship that could reach 1% of Lightspeed within 100 Earth years. I'm talking about if you hauled somewhere near 500,000 Nuclear bombs, and could transport them into outer space on a ship. Then... explode one after another out of the back side, continually, until the speed becomes greater than ~20k MPH, eventually reaching speeds within whole digit numbers, percentage wise, of lightspeed.

If a centralized world government were possible, which "country" would you like to see begin the march to start the movement, therefore having a huge influence on the workings of Earth. (Pretty much who rules it, but a centralized government wouldn't be ruled by one country).

at the momment, no government would be able to start it. I would like to see a normalized (political views) America take charge, or a more diversified Europe (it still really sucks to be an immigrant or the child of immigrants in many euro countries)
