I despise barking dogs. I came so close to poisoning my neighbours dog at my last house. The thing would bark literally non-stop (as in one second between barks) for 5+ hours at a time, about 2 meters from my window. It was a big bastard too so it reverberated right through you.

I haven't tested my katana on anything other than used water bottles. I will take any excuse. I hope it gets free from their yard so I can go outside and have it jump on me so I can slice it and claim self defense.

Actually, I don't think I could do that, I would regret it, but it's fun to fantasize.

Technically, don't trespassers/assailants have to enter your house for you to use the "self defense" claim?

Lucky. I got 3 hours of sleep last night because the neighbor's dog woke me up barking, AND IS STILL BARKING 6 HOURS LATER. Strangely I'm not as tired as I'd expect to be though.

I personally sleep like a rock. I fall asleep with the TV on, usually to something like american dad or family guy.


Also: How tired you feel when you wake up isn't really predicated on how much sleep you got. You're just going to start feeling sleepy sooner and need another nap later. I often find that taking a 30-minute nap in the car during lunch, back when I still had a job, helped keep me full-charge for the rest of the day.

I think that wouldn't apply because it's an animal that can be "attacking" him. Why he had a katana outside his house would be a different story.
