Scare me!

Lately i'm in the mood for some horror, but i haven't been able to find anything that would scare the shit out of me.

I've tried many movies, nothing did the trick.

I've played throught Amnesia: the Dark Descent, it was great, got me some scare as the immersion was really intense, but now that i've completed the storyline, even downloadable mods don't provide much excitement.

I haven't gone to a roller coaster for years, for the mere reason that it doesn't provide me any thrill. The first time i try one, it may give me some chill, but if i do it twice, even if it's on different years, i swear, i can even yawn so much i found those boring.

My current budget is kinda low so i'm limited to video games or movies, and such.

Do you guys have any ideas that would be able to give me the chills?

Some of the custom story's are actually pretty annoying if you play it a lot. Try to play it at night with a headset on, with the lights off.

OT: You sound like a thrill seeker and one that has not found his limits yet. I don't think horror games or movies or going to do it for you in the long run. Every time you get something good, you'll need something better untill nothing does the trick anymore and you end up feeling about them just like you do about rollercoasters. I wish you luck, though.

X_x while i admit this is scary, that's a different type of ''scare''. One provides chills and adrenaline rush, the other is plain shocking.

You could always team up with a friend and spend the night in a creepy location, though make sure you're careful and don't do anything illegal.

This wiki/collaborative writing thing has some good, scary stuff in it. The best ones stay vague so your imagination does all the work. There are also quite some weird/stupid ones, but enough scary ones to be worth it.

even if it's not a haunted place really, the atmosphere (provided you allow yourself to believe that the stories MIGHT be true) is usually good for a buzz

You could always try out the penumbra serie (same devs as amnesia) Penumbra overture and black plague the 3d one requim is just a puzzle (a lot of fun though but 0 scariness). It's not AS scary as Amnesia but it should still give u a few chair jumps :P
