How much do you value yourself?

Here is a scenario, a man walks in front of you with a screen in the knife, you are strapped to a chair and either say slide or knife, when you say slide all the people on the screen you see die, if you say knife you die and nothing will happen to the people on the screens. In the situation you do not know how many slides there are, there may only be one, there may be many, at the point in time you don't know so answer the 'screens' as if you were thinking you would live if you said slide.

I know plenty of vile men who deserve punishment for their crimes but killing them is certainly not the answer. And if they don't deserve to die than I can't say that any of the other options deserve to either.

Call me crazy but it would be "knife" in all situations. Unless it was a slow painful death. I can't tell you how I would react then.

Personally I plan on joining the police soon with 3 theres two sides to it for me, Assuming both of us are in no danger and one of us had to die ofcourse i'd want to save myself but if the random innocent was in danger then i would (Knife) and try save them.

I would knife 1 and 2 but I strongly believe in karma and eye for an eye, IF their my enemy they've commited a disgusting crime/act. So in my eyes it's keeping others safe ideally they would be sent to prison tho.

And all the threads are (or at least most of them are) stupid hypothetical situations that would never happen in real life to anybody which truly makes them pointless. Doubt you'd get many serious or truthful answers from people just sitting at their computer, casually browsing the net.
