Faction changing

As the title says Om bored of Horde atm and i am thinking of coming to ally, Atm im a big holy cow.....

Thinking what race to change to as ally, all have there pro's and con's but are any suited better to holy spec(rarely tank off spec) pally's ? or are they still all just coming down to looks ?

Any advice would be great

Only options are Human, Draenei, Dwarf.

Human gives a +rep bonus and a small spirit boost of 3%, which is barely anything.
Dwarf gives a +10% armor buff for 8 seconds every 2 minutes.
Draenie gives Gift of Naaru, healing 20% total hp over 15secs once every 3 minutes.

They're all so minor it comes down to aesthetics really, I was human (prot mainspec) but went Draenie because they look better and thought the heal was nice. If you want to heal mainspec then can probably count dwarf out. Mana isn't really an issue so the human one is therefore also useless making the (quite large heal just can't use it often). This mana-less heal is probably the best therefore as no manacost and no cast time, and as a tank it can be kinda nice.

There's nothing else to say than that really, they're all pretty equal and none are hugely useful. If you wanted to play ret then human would take over due to the expertise buff or draenie again for the hit, whilst dwarf have nothing. Just pick the one you like the look of most.

Thank you for the reply, pretty much what i was thinking thats its mainly looks over racial of each class.

Not too sure on male Draenie look a bit goofy :P
Females on the other hand

Yeah I went from human male of... a long time, early TBC to about a week before cata, to draenie female. When asked why I alienated the whole server by saying "Gota have something to look at when staying up all night"

Thats what i said before. After having a male toon for so long, better to spend my time looking at the rear of a woman rather then a male :P

Mainly PVE I'd either go Human or Draenei.
But between the two, I'd go Draenei, as they're cooler.

For pve as holy it doesnt really matter.Dwarves 10% dmg reduction for 8secs is nice as well as human's rep and spirit bonus.Draenei are also a viable choice with their healing racial.

To sum it up,it comes down more to looks.

Dwarfs look the coolest,so why search for some thing else?

Dwarves also bring 3 expertise with maces, but since you only play holy that doesn't matter. Based on looks, dwarves are the best choice of the three imo, unless you roll a female.

As for race, in the long run I don't think it matters, if I were to race change my main I'd probably pick fem human or Draenei

Human for pvp racial and the spirit boost.

Drenei for a healing racial. Helps a lot in pve and pvp. (only real hot)
