What video card should I get?

Hi, right now I'm currently using ZOTAC AMP! ZT-40202-10P GeForce GTX 470 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card. While it does good I'm just looking to see if I can upgrade it and see good improvement my limit would be around 300$ if it goes over by a bit that would be fine. So if anyone has any suggestions on a good video card please let me know. Thanks in advance.

    Proc: Intel Core i5-3570K
Mobo: ASUS SUS P8H77-V LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s

Unlocked CPU with a locked motherboard?

Which power supply do you actually have? You linked the CPU as the PSU

Performance wise I'd say you should be looking for either the 7870 or 7950:

MSI Radeon HD 7870 OC Twin Frozr III

MSI Radeon HD 7950 Twin Frozr III

Regardless of the PSU you'll be able to run either of those if you can run a GTX 470 on it.

Performance comparison: GTX 470 vs 7870
Performance comparison: GTX 470 vs 7950

GTX 470 is a good card, make sure you're actually playing something where you'll see a noticeable difference by upgrading. Power consumption is going to go down and so is the heat output.

I guess you meant 'it competes with GTX 570'

ps. OP, why do you have i5-3570k + H77 motherboard? You can't OC the CPU with real multipliers in it. Take a Z68 / Z77 instead (if you haven't bought yet).
