1) Beta
2) Graphics still better than WoW.
3) Good graphics = Good game? Totally.
Go learn something about Guild Wars 2. Go read some articles, go watch some explanation videos. If you still feel the same after that then that's absolutely fine, but to even consider formulating an opinion before you know what you're talking about is pretty silly, actually. Sure it ain't perfect, but it's definitely better than you claim.
Graphics in GW2 are not even close to LOTRO graphics... Not sure how you could come to that conclusion.
I especially loved noticing how shadows and reflections work in GW2.
I hope you haven't forgotten my role in this little story. I'm the leading man. You know what they say about the leading man? He never dies.
If you give in to your impulses in this world, the price is that it changes your personality in the real world. The player and character are one and the same.
• *Because it’s so much more than swinging a sword.*
(Or shooting pistols, or firing a flamethrower.) You can cut a swath through the baddies of Tyria, but there’s so much more. Puzzles, trivia, and all manner of non-combat challenges await you all over the world. Keep your eyes open and pay attention to your surroundings–it’s not just window-dressing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rx4UdIpaCWU >>

When people say things like this, it's apparent that their bias towards the game is seething through into the objective discriptions they try to give.
Drake already said it. Technically speaking, there isn't an argument that GW2 is graphically superior to WoW.
Now smoothness/functionality, that can be argued.

Look at the screenshot above. A person says its really good. And I see what? Right, very dull colors. Very ugly siluettes at the background. Ugly fake fog which looks worse than the same 2d fog in Howling Fjord which is kind of beautiful.
Now check WoW locations. Like Zul'Drak. You instantly spot very thoughtful art direction - they have eye-catching dance of cool and warm colors against each other. Even though the graphics are really outdated (compared to things like Battlefield), solid art direction makes it shine and hides many issues.
This guy is playing at Medium settings at best. He already says in the video that he lowered the settings because of framerate issues, which are gone since then.
I'm assuming you never tried the game, so you don't know how they look in motion, but I can safely say that the art design in this game is top notch (which won't change your opinion since you're blatantly trolling).
Better graphics is highly dependant on opinion. I PREFER WoW's graphics. They are technically behind, I agree, but the mood, the colors, the interior design.. I find it to be much more appealing. Imo the best looking mmo out there is Tera, even though I'm not very fond of the style of the game itself, it is just jaw-dropping GORGEOUS that game.
GW2, I didn't find it so much.
^this right here
You really shouldn't base your opinion of game graphics off videos and screenshots. You have to see it for yourself. I've taken screens of things from my beta weekends, looked at it afterwards, and realized that it doesn't really show off how amazing it truly is.
For comparison:
(god was my UI horrible back then)

I wish I had screens from areas with dragon corruption, or the Sylvari or Asura zones. Boy is that colorful.

As for colours, here are two screenshots I took - Bear in mind these are on almost minimum graphics settings. Only thing set to high is animations which you obviously can't see on a JPG.

You can't really say it has dull colours. The texture work isn't great because as I say, it was on minimum graphics settings, these screenshots were not taken to show off GW2's graphical fidelity, but the colours are pretty bright.
Yes I change my armour dyes depending on my attunement, yes it gets annoying after a while.
